I really appreciate the joy you both have in these adventures, and I think Tokyo Disney really raised the bar. ​@@OrdinaryAdventures They lost their way at that time lol By the way, I went to HKDL last week, first time after pandemic, and their entertainment especially Christmas one was amazing. Hong Kong is much much more English-friendly than Japan(almost all Japanese are afraid of English and don't have the will to learn it😂) and food is also good, so you should go to Hong Kong for next trans-pacific trip! It may be assimilated by mainland China in the near future... Or if you come back to Tokyo and revisit Ristorante di Canaletto, you should request terrace seat! You can request it verbally when you show up to the restaurant. I think inside seat is also good, but terrace seat is outstanding! Highly recommend!!☺️

On the night before, Minnie does not want Mickey to be lonely. For his sake, she made him a teddy bear. Page 2: "Thank you, Minnie!" Minnie put her heart into making the teddy bear. Mickey is very happy Mickey put the present into a Duffel bag and thus called the teddy bear "Duffy" 6:45 Page 3: Mickey went all across the world with Duffy as his companion. At any time, Duffy is able to make Mickey feel cheerful and happy. tl;dr, it is more or less a condensed version of what you explained.

When Duffy first came out in 2012-13, my family went to Disney World. Since my brother and I were 10-12, we did the kidcot thing. The kidcot activity was a Duffy on a stick that you collect the stamps around the world. My dad was on a mission do drinks around the world (specifically beer), and we ended up nicknaming out Duffy cut outs “Duffy the Drunken Disney Bear”😂. My dad only through about half of the pavilions, but in our brains, Duffy had gone to alllll of them!

Kitra, when my mom (54) and I (27) went to Disneyland recently we kept seeing those lil baby Disney characters all swaddled up and literally looked at them and commented on them in every store LOL. After visiting tokyo disneyland and disney Sea xd I couldn't go back to Paris and enjoy the snacks as much. It's so much better and themed in Japan. I’ve been to Venice, Italy, and I have to say the Italian area really does give you the absolute experience of nighttime in Venice. SO gorgeous! How much was the gondola ride?

Shanghai and Hong Kong also go hard for Duffy and friends. It’s interesting to compare merchandise because a lot of the themed lines are exclusive to that park. Resellers are everywhere at Shanghai and lots of it goes to Japan, from what I understand. It’s also interesting because Shanghai doesn’t really do the outfits outside of the main one, and then smaller plush and the keychains are themed seasonally and dressed. Those are super popular.

You can also meet all of Duffy and his friends in Shanghai though it would be hard to do given the lines and availability but they are all there every day, often in seasonal costumes. They are all also in the parades.

Huh, that Cape Cod area reminds me of a "land" in the original Marriott's Great America (uh, in the 70's). I think it was called "Yankee Harbor, representing an early 19th-century Eastern seaboard village" (from the wikipedia page: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/California%27s_Great_America under Park Areas). It was very cool and had two intertwined log flume rides.

My daughter who is now 13 loves Duffy and friends. When Duffy meet and great was in EPCOT she would always go see him with her Duffy all dressed up and she spent so much time with him since the line was short or in some cases just her. She still loves Duffy and friends still and she love Japanese culture so this video series has been so joyful for her with the cute food and little candy boxes and such.
