Agreed Knotts has been continuing to up there game every year and have definitely surpassed HHN. At HHN be prepared for long black hallways and lots of black plywood walls. At knotts every inch of every wall is designed with purpose. It is amazing.

I was delighted not to hear one chainsaw. Some of the sounds that came out of the actors…not human. I did like the pumpkin patch. The scariest thing that freaked me out was the rats. That was so well done. It was very spooky and the kind of scary I can handle. I’m not into the guts and blood & chainsaws. It was nice that Peter got a new hat. I think I would have gone in the water after that last one. Thanks for a fun time. It was the best.🎃⚓️😎

Those are some talented actors to do “voice” work like that. I’m the same way, Halloween is a favorite holiday, but I dislike blood and gore. I’m okay with chainsaws, but agree that they are kind of overused. I guess I like eerie better than slasher horror. I’d be the one doing a Mythical Menagerie theme over Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

Jump scares are one thing, but the way those scare actors on that abandoned Dark Ride maze followed you around and stared at you without really being purposefully scary in the jump scare sort of way totally engaged my social anxiety and I have to say that's WAY WORSE than jump scares! 😂 Thanks again for sharing another one of your "extra"ordinary adventures!

Something I like about the mazes like Pumpkin Eater is that there isn’t a reliance on flashing lights or loud music like at HHN. Even with silence it still creates a creepy atmosphere with occasional jumpscares

A really funny comparison though that I also love is watch tim and Jen tracker who calmly walk through just saying “okay” and “hi” and then kitras getting scared and screaming/laughing 😂😂 I also love that all of you just casually have normalish conversations with the actors

It’s a tough balance because when you are carrying a camera like me you are trying your best not to get scared so you get good non shaky footage. It’s not that I don’t get scared but I’m in filming mode if that makes sense. Having Kitra in front of me allows me to capture the scares and she’s free to react naturally.
