If you love Japanese strawberries, a fun activity (but definitely outside the city) is doing Ichigo-Gari. There are hundreds of small strawberry farms that do it. You pay $20-30 per person, they give you a cup of condensed milk for dipping and you can pick and eat all the strawberries you can until your heart is content!

My husband and I went to Hawaii this past October, primarily using your videos to figure out where to go. We went to Waiola shaved ice and it was the best shaved ice I’ve ever had. Marugame Udon was another that was delicious. Then we went to the temple, fed the koi fish, and did a little prayer at the shrine. We thank you for your awesome video. I lived there for 15 years, and only saw one sea turtle for about 3 seconds from a hundred feet above the rock shore. But, if you want to see a BUNCH, take one of the snorkeling tours that depart kewalo basin for waikiki. There is a gathering place for turtles where they come to get cleaned by fish that live on the reef in that area. I have scuba dived there many times on trips back, and always see a bunch of them. I have a picture somewhere that has 5 of them in front of me. They are graceful and gorgeous...!

I'm glad you were finally able to see a turtle and get some great footage! On our trip in '22 we visited Kaloko-Honokohau national historical park on the Big Island and there were just so many turtles! It's just south of Kona international airport. If you ever have a chance to go it's like a prime spot. They tell you to stay 20ft away from them but they were everywhere, it was impossible to wade without one swimming within just feet of you. Also there's tons to do in that area including night time manta ray swims.

Our family split our stay on Oahu between Outrigger Reef Waikiki Beach Hotel and Aulani, during our last visit to Hawaii. We have to honestly say, the stay at Outrigger was far better than at Aulani for us. The rooms are far bigger, and we loved the fact that we could walk to all of the exciting stores and other hotels. Aulani has a great lazy river and fun things to see on property and the lobby, but we were more relaxed at Outrigger...even with kids who love Disney. We loved Outrigger Reef Waikiki Beach and would stay there again!
