I unexpectedly lost my mom a couple weeks ago (also to cancer, but she just found out) and I've been thinking a lot about you, Kitra, and how you've managed to carry on so beautifully and make your mom proud. I didn’t think I was gonna be commenting on this vid cuz the Drac interaction wuz pretty priceless but of course lots of other ppl feel the same. But I’ve gotta give a shout out to Frank. A non speaking character walking around in that getup on a hot day w/ a mask & still aware enough of his surroundings to be able to take your interaction & run w/ it in such a perfectly character appropriate way. I went to universal this past weekend! I was beyond nervous that I wouldn’t be able to get into SNW with my family but we did it! We ended up going in 5 separate times 💀💀 was worried for nothing lol, sometimes we walked in and they didn’t even check our restaurant reservation or anything. They didn’t care and just let us go on in 🤷🏻‍♂️ not complaining at all it was AMAZING. I am begging universal to get rid of transformers and expand SNW (or anything else. As long as it gets expanded)

We were there a couple weeks ago! It's a really cool new land- the theming is awesome. Sadly, we didn't get to fully experience it due to the spring break crowds. We didn't get to eat in Toad's Cafe or go on the ride. 😞 Both days, we got to the park entrance around 9, and the earliest we could get into Super Nintendo World was 11am. We got in right around lunchtime and there was a sign that Toad's was full for the day. And there's no other food options in the park! So we could either wait in long lines and not have a good opportunity to eat for a while, or leave to get food and not be able to get back in. Next time, we either need to figure out if there's a trick to getting into Toad's or bring snacks, or try to get an entry time that's after we've had a chance to eat! We might have been willing to wait for the ride if we'd eaten first.

This past Friday, I finally visited Super Nintendo World for the first time ever with family members. I bought a peach power band from the SNW store at CityWalk and set it up before entering the park (I then got the watch clip inside the park). In SNW, we met all the characters, rode Mario kart, played all the key minigames, and finished off with the bowser jr. boss battle game. We then went from SNW straight to the universal cinema at CityWalk to see The Super Mario Bros Movie (I even got Oreo popcorn because of your recommendation, and it was tasty), and finally, after the movie, we had dinner at Toothsome Chocolate Emporium after I made a reservation earlier while inside the theme park (because Toadstool Cafe was booked up for the day). Toothsome was a great place, and the red velvet milkshake we shared was very good; at one point during our time at the restaurant, I also engaged in a conversation with the two walk around characters. My family members as I are California neighbor pass holders, so we are planning to go to Universal again later this year.
