The annual ordination services for new Priests and Deacons in The Church of England in Lancashire took place on July 1, 2017.
Filmed the day before the services at the Diocesan retreat and conference centre at beautiful Whalley Abbey in the Ribble Valley while the ordinands were on retreat, this video features Rev. Rosalyn Murphy of St Thomas in Blackpool talking about leading the retreat, alongside two Deacons, Munawar Din from Accrington, who will serve at Blackburn, Christ Church and Stephen Large from Burnley who will serve at Burnley, St Cuthbert, with Brierfield, St Luke. Also in the film are two of the Priests, Rebecca Aechtner, originally from Vancouver, who will serve at Lancaster Priory and Joanne Macholc from Accrington who will serve at Blackburn, St James and St Stephen.
Asking the questions: Diocesan Communications Manager Ronnie Semley.
