Tbf all that does is just make this scene feel incredibly cheap. Like we have this heartbreaking moment where he literally sacrifices what we can only assume is his only available physical form (something something he probably can't be an independent Cephalon bc of Narmer in some way) in order to give us a second chance with the Lotus, but he just. comes back. Like there is NO consequence to it, it's just to make you upset to distract you from how confusing this scene is on a first playthrough

The one thing that sort of annoyed me was how the war had no long lasting effects on the world or the players. If some poeple like Ordis actually died, then they could have oppurtunity to express more mourning emotions in the game so that we cen feel more empathy for the players. They could have added Ordis back in Duviri as Ordin Karris or something like that.....

A lot of people hate on Ordis, but people will learn quick that hes the only one who would truly fight to protect you. In this scene he protects you from the Lotus herself and before that, stood up against Cephalon Simaris to keep him from trying to erase the Tenno for the sake of knowledge and his precious sanctuary. I think they removed the line when he told Sima, "TO THE VOID WITH YOU!!!"
