##Ore Nil Doriya..is a famous bengali song which was sung by Mohammed Abdul Jabbar (born 1938)who is a Bangladeshi famous and very talented well knowned singer, who reached the pinnacle of fame when he sang 'Salam Salam Hazar Salam' and 'O re Neel Dariya'.He sang patriotic songs during the independence war of 1971 and also for playback. Some of his playback songs are, Ore Neel Daria, Du Jahaner Malik Tumi, Mukh Dekhe Bhul Korona, and others. His patriotic songs were broadcasted through Kalurghat radio station (known as Shadhin Bangla Betar Kendro) in 1971, a radio station which inspired Bangladeshi Mukti Bahini (freedom-fighters) to fight hard against Pakistan Army.
The song is from a famous Bengali movie "Shareng Bou"
Based on Sohidulla Kaisar’s novel Sareng Bou is a drama movie about a naval servant who is far away into the blue from his beloved wife. He sent message to his wife but the Chairman seized all the messages and money he sent and trying to tempt his wife. Whatever his wife trusted him, and lead miserable life by working hard.
So who doesn't love a story about love and about miserable life , a dynamic naval man/reindeer duo and a snowman obsessed with warm weather? We all loved the movie Shareng Bou" and its single, "Ore Nil Doriya." So much emotion, energy and drama packed into one tune. But we thought we'd add a little more drama...by melting together and mixing the classical raga and also bangla folk rhythm ""
