I didn't realize that Jones was playing the 4. Why don't they give Belibi some more minutes and put her in the starting role? Or Betts? I'm not a Stanford fan so I'll never understand why Belibi doesn't get more minutes she'd be a superstar on any other team. I realize she was coming back from injury this season, but through her whole career she has never played many minutes.

Bets is still developing. Kiki didn't play much when she was a freshman and now she's one of our major contributor. Fran's problem is that for some reason she has a hard time finishing at the rim. She's a center and was our primary center until Brink became way more reliable and now Kiki has also surpassed Fran (Belibi). Also Fran is only 6 feet. So she's not a great shot blocker and that's why you'll often see Prechtel come off the bench before Belibi when Brink gets into foul trouble. Prechtel is 6"5 and a way better rim protector.

To add to that. Yes, Fran would've been better on another team where she at least could be the 2nd option instead of pretty much the 4th option in Stanford. And with a coah who will let u make a few mistakes before benching you unlike Tara but that's an whole other convo.

​@@Saxxy-4 I see. I just thought Fran just looks like she could break out if given more opportunity. Betts may still be developing for Stanford's standards. But she looked as college ready as I've ever seen any prep prospect. She looks like she's added weight to her frame too. I remember her being dominant playing for Team USA.

@@turtleislandlac1490 Yeah Fran would've had way better opportunity for a break out season at other colleges. Even just in the Pac-12, she would be playing way more minutes. Case in point, she would fit right in with Oregon. I didn't really followed Betts b4 she joined Stanford but I ain't really worried since Brink and Kiki are helping her and these 2 are pretty amazing at finishing at the rim. Betts post moves aren't there yet but yeah, I do hope we see her shine coming march madness.

Iriafin took her spot, and now shes out of the starting line up. Coach went smaller. That's why Brink moved to the center, Haley to 4. If she was playing more I would recommend Belibi play 1 more year to boost her stock for the WNBA. It might be best for her to transfer and play for a team she can start on to show her talent. Some players need to play to get better, and learn. Stanford cant afford that. She should have gone to a team that was up and coming. A mid major, or a team that wasn't getting all the 5 stars. Belibi started playing basketball late, sometimes she looks lost, only playing a lot will help that.
