Don't overreact like the Bruin fans. The schedule, having to go east is not good for any west coast teams, in every sport, not just the college teams. It throws off your rhythm and schedule. The time zones screw up your sleep schedule and body clock. Oregon is a good team. But UCLA after a four game losing streak is playing their best ball of the season and that's after early road wins at Oregon, big win against Arizona (not a home game but in Arizona * neutral site in Arizona) win against Gonzaga neutral in Las Vegas. Neutral game loss loss at NYC Madison Square Garden to N. Carolina then we lost 4 in a row. Altman will get them back on track. Good coaching has a wqy of righting the ship! 1st year in the Big 10 is no easy task!

Altman has brought in second rate talent other than Bittle. No one can make a shot and guards are illergic to the paint. Worst guard play ever. Just a bunch of below average guys Altman has gone all in on. It's not Altman's fault it's the players. Flush this roster asap and get some real players. What is Altman's fault is not a single player has progressed and appears nearly every player has regressed.

Second rate talent? Not true. You forget Shelstad had a great freshman year. TJ Bomba and Angel both had great careers before coming to Oregon. And Barthelemy was injured last season and a proven star from CO. Senior, senior, senior, and all talented. Bittle is a senior and improved a lot too, but still not much of force around the basket. Luckily, he has so far this season avoided injury. K Evans was a top recruit and showed talent last year. But not much this year. Others like S Cook, Moss, and Tracey a good players at times as backups. Overall, the talent this year is better than last year. But as noted above, as a team they are not playing well, taking bad shots, lack aggressiveness going to the basket, and other fundamentals. I agree with everything Spencer has said. I rarely blame our coach. But when Shelstad does nothing on offense and goes scoreless, and ducks settle for nothing but 3 pt shots and miss most of them, then don't drive to the basket, don't fight for rebounds, etc. that's on the coach. Sorry. Altman is one of the best coaches in the country. But he doesn't show his anger or get in the face of his players like as other college coaches do. While I mostly like that in a coach, sometimes you have to kick your players in the butt. Right now they need it. He needs to light a fire under this team! And he better hurry. The season is at a turning point in case no one has noticed!

Sadly, this team is going nowhere! Way too inconsistent, just he. It looks like they’re coming together they get blown out by an average ucla team! I’ve always liked Altman, but it might be time for a change.

UCLA has beaten Oregon twice and is one of eight teams in the country with more than 6 Q1 wins. BTW as a UCLA fan I thought Sheldstad looked sick and Bittle was “questionable” to start the game. Oregon will be fine.

Hear Hear! Overrreating is the new normal! We were doing it 5 games ago. Or some Bruins fans. Some of us had faith, rightfully so! Go Bruins! Give Izzo a belated b'day 🎉 present, his first conference loss, and we'll root for Oregon to give them no#2 . On any given day ....
