Oregon coast hikes - God's thumb trail and visiting Harry Potter cafe in Lincoln city

On our first hike of 2022, we explore the Oregon coast on God's thumb trail. Hikes along the Oregon coast are some of the most beautiful and captivating. God's thumb trail in particular is popular among hikers and trail runners. Spanning for ~4.3 miles with elevation gain of ~1100 ft, the God's thumb trail is rated as moderate. Located in Lincoln city and situated along the coast, this hike is accessible year round with mind-blowing scenery along the trail. While the initial section of the trail offer pretty standard view, the end is just the opposite. The path in the last 0.2 mile to the top is a little narrow and steep and should not be set foot during rainy days. As soon as you reach the top, the views of the city and the rugged beach are stunning and picturesque. Be mindful, strong winds are very common at the top and can force you to turn back early. After finishing the hike and on our way back to home, we stopped at a Harry potter themed cafe, not too far from the trail. For Harry potter lovers, this is a must visit and is also a good place for refreshments after hike.
