WOW! Absolutely love your videos! It's my history lesson each and every time and for that I thank you. To start, that 81 S is a beauty. I guessed the grade right but assumed it also at least had some PL designation. Maybe the obverse wasn't as reflective as PCGS wanted. Love love love your history on the Oregon Trail. I learned a decent amount about it during our cross country move especially since we were able to transit (by vehicle of course) across many established historical trail sites. It was an extremely ballsy, tough, and brutal expedition. I couldn't imagine doing it in those days. The coin itself is fantastic. The Fraser couple put together a masterpiece on this one. Love your old rattler. I ave a 38 around the same grade as yours. The Half cent is a toss up for me. I am poor at trying to grade those but I did get the VF at least. As for the Peace dollar, I got that one right as well. I just know the TPG companies are super stingy when it comes to Peace dollars. Unlike the Morgan, the Peace dollars they seem to grade quite lower. Anyhow, glad you are back making videos, I and I am sure your viewers appreciate it. Be easy Doc, I always have time in life for Dr. G's videos!

I love hearing the history on the Oregon Trail coin as I have tons of letters from family that traveled both this trail and the first white people into Missouri and Kentucky. My family and the Daniel Boone family were the first in Missouri. My family names are Clay, Taylor and Osborne and have many frontiersman and politicians of that time. Lucky for me my family also were photographers and I have more than thousands of photos in the 1860's to 1880's and even more to 1900. I am a 5th generation photographer and all but my grandfather and myself were women. I learned from my grandfather how to develop film. Great coins I came close on most and really enjoy these videos that you do. Hey I am up on you a few videos time to catch up and I will look forward to seeing some new ones from you. Thanks for sharing this was a great video loved all the research.

Just bought an MS64 and I am very excited as a Choctaw. The End of the Trail also represents the end of the Trail of Tears and is in the Western Heritage Museum in Oklahoma City. The Indian way of life and culture is stronger and more powerful than ever in Oklahoma.

The Oregon Trail commemorative coin although controversial , is just beautiful. And its one of the Very Few coins they minted in 1933, i like to collect 1933 Walking liberty's also.
