OregonTrailR yeah that's not a really big thing on the islands mostly on Oahu since that's where I'm from, but I feel once I finish my project hopefully everyone can get onboard and do they're own and come to you guys for advice and be inspired just like I am. This particular trailer was ordered without any sort of built in stove, because the owners had their own stove they liked, and had no need for a built-in one. The TV is not for everyone, though it does come in handy if the weather turns foul for an extended period of time :)

Thank you! Currently the most expensive upgrade are our custom doors, like what's seen in the video above. Standard doors are rectangular with softened corners, and just bolt right on. The custom doors are larger, wider, follow the curves of the trailer nicer, and we build them in-house with hand formed trim extrusions. Thanks for the comment, looking forward to hearing from you!

The deep cycle marine battery is located under the countertop in the galley on the driver side. It is on a slide to make maintenance very easy. You can see the access door at :48 seconds into the video...

Charles, We are a small company producing our campers here in Eugene, and prefer to stay out of the dealership network and just sell directly to clients. No need to increase the price just so a middleman can slice off his cut in between us building it and you getting it. That said, most of our clients do travel to us to take delivery, but they are pretty easily shipped as well. You can bet on it being around a dollar/mile for shipping. It's generally cheaper and more fun to come pick it up yourself, but some people understandably don't have the time. If your interest is still piqued, feel free to call or email us for more info! So, OregonTrailR, the trailer is 6 + 1/2' wide (80")?...I saw no burners, cookstove or microwave. Is it equipped with a propane tank or solar panels/inverter/battery(s) to power devices, etc?...And, is it towable with a 4-cylinder late model Honda Civic??

+Michele Miller They can be outfitted with built-in LP stove, LP system, solar system, etc...just about anything you could want. See our website for more details and pictures. FronTear models range from just over 1000 lbs, to about 1350 lbs depending on configuration. Check with your dealership for towing capability of your specific vehicle.... Thx!

+Michele Miller The water system has a 16 gallon tank, 12 volt on-demand pump, faucet, and sink. This model ranges from $13k to around $30k depending on how wild you want to go with options, but most FronTears leave our shop between $16k-22k. We are located in Eugene OR. We very seldom see our campers on the used market, and don't currently know of any, but don't let that stop you from looking :)

Thank you! This model (FronTear) starts at $14k, and can quite easily sail over the $20k mark when the big ticket options are selected (water system, propane system, custom doors, etc, etc...) This one was around the $23k mark I think, but we've built this model over $30k fully kitted out before. I'd say the average going price is around $17-$22k. Hope this helps!

Hello! We have shipped our teardrops all over the USA and into Canada, but never overseas. We'd be happy to build you a teardrop, but you would have to arrange shipping. Our teardrops are about the size of a small sport utility vehicle, so they could be shipped in a vehicle transporter easily. Thank you for your interest!

Thanks for. your interest! We've never shipped one overseas before, but I'm sure it won't be inexpensive... If a trailer is to be shipped, we leave it up to the buyer to arrange. For reference to ship one from the west coast of USA to the east coast of the USA is around $2000 U.S.on top of the price of the trailer.

Sorry for the late reply, this trailer is about 1300 lbs dry, so that would be a pretty big ask for any motorcycle I would think... Check out our DoDrop model at www.oregontrailer.net, It weighs 515 lbs in base trim, and could easily be pulled by a full dresser.

If you can fit on a queen size bed, you'll fit in this teardrop. We worked very hard to design a trailer that feels bigger on the inside than the outside, and I'd say this proves we nailed it!

And you are welcome to do so! We are happy to admit our trailers are not for everyone, and we are more than happy to point people who have budgetary restrictions or who have no need for a highly durable, well-built camper towards TAG's and other offerings by Little Guy. In the automotive world there are Kia's and there are Mercedes, and they both make up an important part of that industry. You can hire a custom cabinetmaker to build your kitchen, or you can go to Ikea, it just depends on whether you want your product to give you a good service life with minimal maintenance. Our industry is no different. Just remember, you get what you pay for, and our profit margin is FAR less than what Little Guy earns from their TAG, even though our trailers can easily be double the price of theirs. Our industry, like most others, has room for both budget-friendly options and high-quality options, giving consumers like yourself freedom to choose what works best for you. And if you don't choose us, we are 100% ok with that! BTW, "holes" are not usually a "feature" you want on a trailer ;)
