An amazing drive indeed. Gorgeous landscape. The sound of that diesel workhorse is the perfect background, imo.

First traveled this road in 1948, and then when bidding and building road jobs and hauling big equipment, traveled countless times between Vancouver and wherever east and north. If I had a nickle a mile wouldn't worry about the high prices in my old age - 89. Always something to marvel at-wildlife, wild drivers, stormy and windy days and icy roads.

Interesting! Thanks for the ride. I haven't been out that way in about 30 years, at least on the Washington side of the river. Didn't hear the normal sound of a Jake brake... don't have one? What are you running for power and what kind of rig do you have? Last large rig I drove back in the 80's was a Peterbilt COE with a 350 Cummins and a 13 speed. I ran 4 western states and sometimes a load to B.C. Canada. I miss driving but not the pressure. Stay safe!
