The phone has problems in connecting to laptop only when there is a driver issue or a hardware issue. The only time i couldn't connect my phone to laptop was either because, my USB port wasn't working or because my USB drivers were not working properly. I'd say, try another system... you need to install the latest drivers by downloading them from internet again. also check if any other phone is getting connected. When you factory reset the system, sometimes, the basic drivers like MTP gives error, you need to check them as well. ADB and fastboot drivers also give errors. So, if anything's wrong, your phone is not going to connect.

So as per my understanding... You have tried to connect the phone with your pc, however, it never appears in your pc... If there correct.. Try uninstalling and reinstalling the motorola usb drivers from the link in the description! And then disconnect and connect the phone... Again! :) i am hoping this will help!

Bro... Portrait mode is still not available on g4 plus! I'll surely make a video once something new us available for the device!:D None of the ROMs are bug free.. They all have memory leak issues and camera not doing very great! However, you can try any 32bit rom and see if that is suited your need! :)

Nope! Its not a hard brick! It can be a display issue... Try going into bootloader by holding volume down and power key! And see if anything appears there!

+Axit Bararia I hope you have tried using the button shortcuts, power+vol down... Etc, that boots to bootloader.. Press and hold power button for a few seconds, see if that helps in detection, if you have not tried that! I would also advice u to check if any other pc/laptop is not able to detect it, just in case! I personally did not face this issue, however, if nothing works, u should uninstall qualcomm and moto usb drivers and install qualcomm drivers again! And then try in getting the device detected! :)

ey bro, i have a problem, i tried to root my phone moto g4 plus, and when i turn on my device it says "no commands" after that i pulse the power button and the volume up button and the recovery menu appears, i wipped data and factory reset but every time i reboot the phone is turning into recovery mode and i cant do nothing, i searched for help but i dont find anything, i hope you can help me, please :(

+Axel CaMaChO hey brother! 1st of all, tel me how did you root your phone..? Before rooting the phone u need to unlock your bootloader and install a custom recovery..did you do that? "No command" appears in stock recovery, and you cannot root in stock recovery, you need custom recovery, i.e., twrp for it... And to install twrp, u need to unlock your bootloader.. I have left a link in description for unlocking bootloader and installing custom recovery.. You will need to do the step to root your phone.. Let me know! :)

AB Sailor hi Bro, i solved the problem, i unlocked the bootloader but i didnt know when i have to install the TWRP it didnt installed, i dont know how but i installed the Custom recovery xD I just flashed the rom that you put in the description and i unbrick my phone, very Thanks!!

it won't! g4 has its own blankflash! i found this! take some time and read it completely! You won't be able to take any Stock OTA of moto g5 plus if you use this method, instead, you will have to see for z2 play stock, if you use this! Thnx bro it helped me i m now able to get into fastboot mode and im also able to successfully flash stock firmware. It works fine but the problem is it not showing anything on display ,maybe it has got some hardware issues...bt thnx for helping u did a splendid work🙂🙂.

+Karan Singh not showing anything on display means? Can u brief that a bit? If you have flashed stock.. Make sure you have flashed stock that is for moto Z2 play... If you flash the stock for moto g5 plus.. It might give you problems...

Bro i flashed stock of moto z2 play still same problem screen is blank at the time i installed fastboot i showed fastboot is installed because when im connecting my device to the pc a pop is appearing which shows device connected named "fastboot potter s ".. but i cant c it on my mobile screen which is black after install fastboot. I can still flash stock recovery at the time when it completes my phone got restart bt again nothin i can c in my device screen . I also tried installing stock of z2 play bt again same problm continues no bootloader display nothin...

I have done the blanksplash step and my device is in fake bootloader,fastboot mode..now i cant flash the original bootloader and gpt file..while flashing it says that-- (bootloader) slot- count:not found (bootloader) slot-suffixes: not found target reported max download size of 536870912 bytes sending partition (32 KB)... Nope! As long as you do not downgrade bootloader there won't be any brick!

+Faisal Khan I would recommend, you should flash a custom recovery, wipe partitions - system, data, cache and dalvik... And then flash the stock rom again.. If this doesn't work, then, let me know, is your phone xt1643? You can find it in about phone! Also, can u tell me the baseband? This is also in about phone..

Is this error shown in my video? U need to run the blankflash and switch the phone on instantaneously.... Try to sync with the power key! Run and press the power key instantaneously to see if that works.. Make sure you have all the drivers.. Usb and moto... As well..if you have moto drivers... Just uninstall and download them again from internet and install again!
