This is not Bach,this is Alessandro Marcello. I don't know everybody gives credit to Bach! Bach only adapted this music for being able to be performed on piano.This beautiful music is composed by Alessandro Marcello from Vanice!

Again what a magnificent instrument I have two versions ,the second is the cello with the lacquer finish. I prefer this instrument. It sings s0 deep and mello I see the reaction in ORFEO'S face.

Summary is wrong, the oboe concerto was written by Marcello and Bach, and the transcription for cello and piano is from Orfeo Mandozzi

That is not correct it was written by Alessandro Marcello (incorrectly attributed for some time to Benedetto Marcello) and Bach made a keyboard transcription. I am not sure if Orfeo transcribed the cello part for this performance but it has become a standard work in the cello repertoire and other editions are not by Orfeo.

What an inspirational rendition, if I close my eyes. The unnecessary visual background and monotonous courtroom lighting sucks, however. The performance by both musicians deserves theatrical lighting with shadows and mood. Why does the best classical music ignore what has been learned by lesser artists. I'm not trying to downgrade the performance; just offering suggestions to deservingly appeal to more people.
