Just a thought on that TifTuf ol’ Mate. What if you reel mowed it every time instead of rotary mowing? Tif turf is meant to me kept as short as possible isn’t it? Maybe that would help prevent those seedheads? I dunno. I’m no expert but I do have some in my yard and I only hit it with the Allett. Using my rotor on it is just like takin a walk in the park for the fun of it. lol.

Maybe Van, maybe 🤔. If I think back in the season, I mowed it with a rotary until it was fully recovered then hit it with the cylinder mower. This is when the seed head appeared. Hhhhhmmmm

@@thegreenandgoldlife1464 well I’ll have to see what mine does when it’s summer it’s middle of winter here but still pretty warm so it’s holding on to its color. I put the sod down in the worst time of the year and it’s settled terribly, tons of undulations honestly so I think I’m gonna be in for a fight for the first year or so to get it looking tip top. Maybe I should start a vlog on it.

@@thegreenandgoldlife1464 cheers mate, tried to complete my annual autumn over seed on my rye grass few weeks ago here in nsw but this rain has just been a nightmare and flooded the lawn and seed rotted out and now with so much water on the lawn fungus has kicked in, it’s driving me insane, I’ll see how I go 👍🏼

Don't be upset with your tif tif, give it a scalp and start over. The more often you scalp couch the more she will show you love.

@@thegreenandgoldlife1464 that's what's great about couch. It loves getting tough love. As soon as you see brown or anything you don't like and your temps are in the 30's just do a quick reset and within 2 weeks you will be back to lush green carpet.
