Organic spotting of Acetanilide

The compound is colorless solid with no characteristic odour, saturated aromatic compound.
This compound is neutral having elements C, H (O) and N.
The melting point of this compound is 114 ⁰C, functional group is NHCOCH₃.
Therefore this compound is acetanilide having molecular formula C₆H₅NHCOCH₃.
Derivate- When acetanilide is treated with Bromine water it gives and P-bromoacetanilide(M.P= 167 ⁰C).
