Oooh, I need to find a B&M near me! Your salon is absolutely stunning. It's a shame that some of your clients don’t get on with HONA, such a gorgeous and ethical brand. TGB doesn't seem to care about their customers and definitely doesn’t deserve your hard-earned money. Maybe you could try something else with HEMA for better retention for those clients. I wish my nail desk looked as neat and aesthetic as yours does at the end! 😂

Absolutely, get yourself over to a B&M's - nail stuff organisation heaven!!! Such a limbo to be in - I've spoken to so many techs in the exact same situation😪I couldn't agree with you more! HONA's customer service is unmatched🙌🏻 I think it may have something to do with the fact aswell that I am a refiner and HEMA free products are perhaps best left not refined... I'm still hoping that one day I can get over my need to refine... I'm very OCD about that little reflection line on the nail😂

Thank you🤩 That's a good idea! Might be a bit cold though😬 I'll need to get little wheels for the table before anything, it's so heavy to move it when we need to get the the loft.

I love the black and natural wood aesthetic. I want to change out the pink in my area for something like this. I looooove pink but it doesn’t go with the the aesthetic for the rest of the house

Great idea at the time committing to a certain style but then when it comes to changing it, it's hard, isn't it😭

Where is your nail desk from?😍
@alisassmannshausen680823 күн бұрын
For the wood tho don’t you put wall paper or fabric down, something you really like. That you’d be able to change out. And put a big piece of glass on top of it so the see that and you have a backdrop for your photos and filming. And it be easy to maintain?

Where did you get your white half-moon desk lamp from? I've been going round in circles...just can't make my mind up between a NEATFI or DAYLIGHT Slimline...or a half moon ☺ I really like your suspended one!

Could / do you have a video of how you actually started your business? How you set prices (know this is different for everyone) but because I don’t have a lot of experience I don’t feel I can charge high but then any money I earn will literally go back into the business to build it up.. how long did it take you till you started making a profit / wage for yourself? X
@blush_boudoir2 күн бұрын
Hi Shannon, thank you for this suggestion. I'll take this suggestion onboard and add it to my list of content to film in the future. In the meanwhile here's a video where I touch on how I started my business: kzbin.info/www/bejne/Z6PVY5WVmbWIh9E I did reinvest a lot, A LOT, probably most of my money back into the business.Which is why I think is SO So important you LOVE what you do. Like I would have spent my moneys on nail stuff ANYWAY as opposed to the latest trainers ect... I lived with my mum at the time of starting out and while building up my clientele so I was lucky enough to be able to do so. What's the prices in my area are like? Is my work better or worse or about the same to what's around? What's the price of my products/materials used? How long does a set take? What's minimum wage? These are questions I ask myself and things that I would consider when starting out. Make sure you are at least making minimum wage after deducting costs of goods and materials... Then progressively as you get better and you client base/demand grows, so should your prices. But pricing is such a complex topic I would say anyway - I still think to myself am I charging correctly? 🤷🏻♀️ All the best luv x

Is your nail desk top from IKEA? If it is, did you cut the hole for your dust collector in it? I was thinking about getting an IKEA top for my nail Desk and cutting a hole but not sure if that would mess it up or not.
@blush_boudoir2 күн бұрын
Hi Brittany, thanks for your comment! Yes it's IKEA, ALEX drawers and the table top is IKEA also. I think it's second from the longest length. Yes we cut a hole through it for the dust extractor - had no problems in doing so. It is cardboard in the inside though so very hollow, just take care when cutting through it. I have filmed footage of us doing this so I will look for an opportunity to show it in one of my videos or do one around how we decorated the salon.
