As a guy who will do this more than my wife in our upcoming house, this is so calming and relateable. Also as a video/audio person this video is so well made... your voiceovers, angles and notes are so well thought! But maybe you should invest in a small APS-C camera and lens for those indoor shots :)

oh man thanks for the compliment! Appreciate it so much! I actually got myself a full-frame and have been loving it, trying to use it more often as it's bulkier to manoeuvre. Again, thanks so much for your kind comment!

For the storing of the knife with the magnet, I would suggest putting it face downwards (handle on top). That way if the knife drops before you hold it properly, you wouldn't be trying to... catch a falling knife.
@haylivk2 жыл бұрын
That's a great consideration. We placed it facing up cos we wanted to protect our countertop in case it falls. Thank you for pointing that out!

Watching your videos always satisfies the OCD in me hahah! Thanks for giving organization ideas which helps me plan for my new house. One tip as a dishwasher myself, I will clear the dishes from the drying rack before washing new batch so that the drying rack will not be piled up. Looking forward to your next vid!

Hi! May I know who's your contractor or how to get the storage racks in your kitchen that was built in? I like the various compartments!
@haylivk Жыл бұрын
I ordered from taobao and got my contractors at that time to fix it up. In hindsight, there's quite a bit of space wasted since the carpentry weren't designed with the racks in mind, so perhaps you can consider working around those dimensions to maximise your space :)

Linked an alternative in description under Pots & Pans Drawer > Pot divider/stand :) The one I got from Taobao wasn't the best / that worth it after shipping so I didn't link the original.

Good that you are teaching me to organise my house neatly in this vlog. Hope you also reply more of my comments of your vlogs as soon as you can. 👍😍 Cos if you don't, I might get offensive or start arguing at you wrongly which I didn't mean to as I am still young (under the age of 21), and to respect you as much as can.
@haylivk2 жыл бұрын
Haha apologies for the late responses, this auntie here limits her own social media / screen time so I'm not always online 😊 And if you can, try to not feel down if I/other creators happen to not reply you okie. It might not be personal, and in the long run it's not worth it to let yourself feel sad over external factors beyond your control. You, your feelings and your thoughts are as valid as they are, with or without their replies. 💜💜 Hope to see you on future videos! 🥰
@busloxwcko7randy2 жыл бұрын
@@haylivk I honestly admit that I was offensive to some creators who didn't reply my comments which I thought they would had block my channel so was quite upset. 😢
@haylivk2 жыл бұрын
@@busloxwcko7randy kudos to you for being honest with yourself about your feelings! Not everyone can do that :) Totally understand how you feel, because you took the time to watch, support and comment to share your thoughts but there's no response. Sometimes, it's difficult to reply to everyone and I struggle with that too. Let's try to focus on factors within your control, like the happiness/joy watching the video brings you (if it does), or the feeling of being heard online via your comments. At the same time, leave the external factors to others (whether creators respond etc, if they block you etc). I think it's good enough as long as you know you're trying your best, and you're not harming anyone, really! I'm still learning how to do this though I'm a lot older than you, so you're not alone in this :)
@busloxwcko7randy2 жыл бұрын
@@haylivk thanks for what you've explained. Hope you also reply to the new video as soon as you can that I have just watched since yesterday night? But the comments I re-edited especially with the new backpack you got to ask you how is it and whether you like eating the red bean paste dessert? 😋

Where did you learn how to cook? I'm inspired by your cooking vlogs but don't know where to start.
@haylivk2 жыл бұрын
Hey Jaylekk, mostly from youtube :) I choose recipes with similar ingredients / easy cleanup so it won’t be so overwhelming at the start. I’m sure you can do it 😊 Maybe this could be an idea for an upcoming video. Some easy recipes I use for your ref: - Salt and pepper salmon + pasta - Curry don + chicken (using Japanese curry cubes) - Hotpot + pork belly slices (using soup packets) Hope this helps and all the best!!
