This is honestly the best interpretation I have ever heard. And by far. It flows so easily forward. So light, but not reckless. Just perfect.

I myself am an organist. BWV 682 is harmonically and contrapunctually superb. And bloody difficult (LOL!...) And you did it splendidly!

Yeah and it doesn't look so difficult 😂 just a few notes here and there. But that's truly a piece for masters of the instrument.

Wonderful playing and execution! You truly are a master of the Master's works!! I truly feel his presence when I hear you play! I truly enjoy your style and see how much you really enjoy sharing the great music that Bach created in honor of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!! I know you have a deep love in your heart for the Lord, and that makes your playing all the more special!! God's peace always!!

I have been enjoying your You Tube posts of music from the Bach Clavierbung III. You play this music very fluently and with a sure grasp of Bach's mature organ style. The large "Vater unser" (one of Bach's most technically and musically difficult organ pieces!) is especially fine.

What a wonderful performance. I've always hated this piece - listening to it usually feels like being repeatedly jabbed with a pair of scissors - but you make it seem friendly and timeless. What's a Chorwecker, by the way?

Thank you for your positive feedback - I'm glad you liked it! I think the Chorwecker is a stop to call for the choir (the singers who sing for the service)

Congratulations for this wonderful interpretation! May I ask which is the registration you chose? The pedal sounds like typical bass of 16' + 8' flue stops, but what do you have in the manuals giving that color? Perhaps an 8' reed stop in the left hand and the quint 2 2/3' in the right hand?
@OrganistDanielBruun9 жыл бұрын
voixdelabime Thank you! Yes, I use an 8' reed in the left hand and the quint in the right hand:-)

Hm, I find the interpretation rather superficial... All this wonderful moments of harmonic miracles are difficult to experience in this rigid tempo. And touching is very unispired, rather harsh. Just to set a counterpoint, no offence. :) Technically, of course, well done, but in general with a lack of deeper understanding, from my point of view...
