You really have a lot of DIY skills happening! That beautiful organizer you made for your paperwork is gorgeous! And you started with an Amazon box?!? Brilliant. I am struggling with some sensitive items right now. I never ever had an issue with what to keep or throw away but I never lost a loved one either. My sister passed last August, She was 61. We were always so very close, just 15 months apart in age. I am not ready to put away anything that she gave me or left to me. My office is now a shrine 😢. I need help. So, you are right, everyone deals with that stuff differently. Great video Jenia! ❤

Jenia plastic goes on the top rack of dishwasher because there is a heating element under the bottom rack which can melt plastics. But you do what works for you. Love your rolled up drain rack and sign for dirty and clean. Hugs from uk 🇬🇧
@fromjeniawithlove25062 жыл бұрын
Thank you Tracy! Yes, that rack is pretty amazing! I sometimes put baby plastic bottles on the bottom, I find they get cleaner and dont melt, but everything else that is plastic I try to put on top as I can. Thank you!
@d.k.s.40572 жыл бұрын
Don't worry too much about how to load your dishwasher! I grew up without one and only had to learn to load after age 17 and then infrequently.... Many decades later, I can say it is almost automatic. I gained experience making mistakes, melting things, finding things still dirty, leaving starchy bits on things which did not come loose and rinse away, using cheap and non-effective dishwasher products, etc. It's a curve, a learning curve! It helped me to watch others do it who know how and to ask questions. I looked closely at the rinsing mechanisms and found out how to place things where the water was less interrupted by bulky things and how to match the size of things like glasses and cylindrical objects to the racks and accessories. For bottles and their parts, I used a special basket which holds tiny parts safely and sits in the top rack. When the basket broke unexpectedly, I used a garment bag for delicate laundry items instead and IT WORKED well! You are doing okay- don't be discouraged.

As long as you use air dry on dishwasher setting plastic is generally okay on bottom. Well I have a lot of dishes and less silverware I take the silverware holder out so I can put more in. Best thing I learned choose to wash all the little things in your dishwasher and wash the big things that don’t fit by hand. Also, don’t sell yourself short repurposing containers is less waste. It’s better then buying the popular clear plastic containers in my opinion. I use cardboard boxes to organize my things. Shoe boxes work great as dividers in drawers for shirts, underwear, pants, etc Cereal boxes can be used as a filing system. They can be decorated to be more pleasing to the eye Great video ❤️🤗
