I love these artbins as well as project bags. My trip-up is that once the project is done, I keep all the leftover fabric, etc. in them. I have a hard time cutting down fabric so I just keep it in the box

Im trying out Lori's method this year along with a couple of scrappy ongoing projects .... hopefully that will make me get through all the scraps immediately so I can move on!

I started using bins like this 5 years ago when covid hit and I moved in with my son and his family to take care of the kids house meals etc. I love them

I use these bins too. They are great! I love the idea of using colored ones for long-term BOM projects and the clear ones for current, quicker projects. I will order a few colored ones so I can quickly tell which is which. :) Great idea!

I started using these art bins to sort my fabric and other items about 5 years ago. There are larger ones also. I keep all my background fabric in those. You will enjoy being able to see thru the clear ones.

Thank you for the tips, I have been actually using those bins myself and they do a great job. I catch them when they go on sale at my local Staples. Love the quilt you have on the back wall, I’m sure you have a video for it and I need to find it so I can find out which one it is.Thanks again.

I have been hand quilting for years. I use a finger cot on my index finger . Makes it easier to grip the needle with less hand strain. I have tried every thimble available and have a clear winner. They are round stick on leather thimble pads. Colonial Needle company leather thimble pads .Available in quilt shops and on amazon.

Oh! I have some for the hot glue gun I like to use on my thumb to pull the needle through even when Im EPP. I havent tried it on my index finger yet. I should do that!

@ There's an ARTBIN with a handle and colored snaps like the handle and it's 13 x 13" and 3 1/2 inches tall. I've got another that is 16x16" and 5 1/2" tall that is like the Artbins that snap closed but it doesn't have any identifier markings on it. I probably got it at Joann's or Michael's at some point. I know Joann's had the 13 x 13 with the handles when I was in there this week but who knows how long they will be open. Hobby Lobby has a selection too. And then....there's Amazon! I LOVE the ArtBins that are 2 1/2" wide by 23" long for holding my 2 1/2" strips.

I use those type of boxes too. I used to hand quilt a lot. I love leather thimble but would poke through them. I eventually went to a silver thimble as I wore through brass ones.

I occasionally hand embroidery and really love Thimblepads which are the adhesive thimbles. My nails always seem to be too long to comfortably use a thimble so these are great.
