I had my moments going into debt buying purses, jewelry, makeup and never ending up using it . I’m 36 now. Over the past few years I became a minimalist and only have what I need. Everthing I own has its purpose and I’m gonna use it up until I’m done and treat myself to something new. Also I’m only investing in good quality things . A lot of this crap is coming from China . I’m done with bath and body works. I find that the scents don’t even stay anyways . I have my perfume , my sol janieros , I have my top fav victoria secret and BBW lotions and body mists but once I’m done with them I’m not buying from them anymore . ME. when i was younger 95% of the time when i wanted something whether it be clothes, a beauty product or a stuffed toy my mum would tell me no and to put it back down. My collection of products isn't as extreme as chloe's but it's still not a 'normal' amount. I think i'm also this way because my sense of smell is out of this world and i love beauty products for the smell so i could literally buy every single dove deodorant on the shelf because all of them smell so good. But I'm trying to not do this anymore because i know it's excessive. ALso going to tjmaxx doesn't help because they always have good more expensive products for really cheap and i get sucked into that rather than thinking rationally and asking myself if i really need this product or do i just want it because its like $30 cheaper. edit: like for example if i was in sephora and saw a briogeo hair mask i'd be like nahhh but if i were to see that same hair mask in tjmaxx for $30 cheaper i'd be like hell yeah im taking this. Which just leads to overconsumption

People are commenting about the volume of products and the likelihood of them going rancid before they can be used are simply trying to get Chloe to understand the problem. It’s wasteful, which is sinful. It may be redundant because it’s coming from so many people, but would you tell people to stop sending “positive “ messages “ to stop? No, honey we love you and we’re only saying it because it’s TRUE! Donate most of that, and trust GOD to keep you never in want or need of anything. Then create a sinking fund for hygiene products. I just want to say I grew up poor. There were many times I wouldn’t have basic necessities. As I got older I made sure I had everything I needed and more. I had a subconscious fear of running out of things and I still do to be completely honest. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with collecting things. I’m a collector or perfume, tumblrs and hygiene as well. There came a point in time I had to ask myself am I doing this out of enjoyment or am I doing this because of my subconscious fear? I also had to ask myself is this excessive? I didn’t think I was hoarder because I’m a very clean person all of my products were neat and organized everything had a home. Plus I saw the show hoarders and I didn’t identify because my home has NEVER been anywhere close. One day God led me look up the definition of a hoarder. The definition of a compulsive hoarder is persistent difficulty discarding or parting with possessions because of a perceived need to save them. My perception of what I thought of a hoarder was skewed because of the show and how disgusting and extreme some cases were. Mind you my collection was no where near the size of Chloe’s, but I still recognized that if I didn’t stop it would become a problem. There’s a balance to everything. In one of your previous videos you had two bottles of Feminine wash that you didn’t use because you said it irritated you, but you didn’t want to give it away. That’s when I knew. I think it’s important to show her grace because it’s a process. I have an addictive personality too and because I didn’t do drugs or drink I thought it was fine. But I made my need to have things an idol. I have donated things and learned when to say no when I want something but I already have a different version at home. It takes time and first recognizing it is a problem. And just because I wasn’t addicted to drugs didn’t make my addiction to buying things and holding on to items any less severe. Sin is sin and they are all equal and that kicked my butt into gear. I love you girly. We’re both still young trying to navigate life and unlearn trauma from our childhood.

So many comments ab how many products she has but thats one of the main reasons we watch her to begin with.. to see her reviews and thoughts/hauls on self care. This is chloes job AND her hobby if we were all blessed to have both in one our homes would look very similar im sure. I just don’t understand why comment on how someone spends their money. Its meant to be spent and we are meant to be happy life is short and the money cant come w us. I love the video and i love chloe and her family. Life is hard for everyone right now as long as we are happy and spreading happiness and love thats all that should matter!

She also says in many of her videos she gives away products. And i also don’t like how people are bringing up her child hood like we all don’t have something that effects us to this day i think it’s very cool to see her beginning videos to today and how she’s been blessed through many trials she never rubs it in of how she can afford anything or how far she’s came she makes it inspirational that we can all do it to.

We all have the ability to choose what we spend on and if its your money and you want to buy it, whats it to you to police it. Stop trying to be self righteous. Everyone is personally aware of what's needed in their house and what isn't; what they want and what they don't want, how their savings is going. What you don't know is any of that and don't see whats the point in yours and other people's comments besides either envy or being unable to be ok with someone else's life that you contribute no money to. If you would like to donate or give charity, do so. If they do charity themselves, you have no idea if they do. Should you never buy anything in your life - no drinks, no restaurants, no anything because you donate all that money to charity instead of yourself? I think not. Whatever you’re feeling when you go to the store to just buy more that you don’t need, examine that feeling instead of spending your money. Every time you want to buy lotion you don’t need, take that money and put it in a savings account and see how much money you have at the end of the year. I promise it will make you evaluate your life

Honestly if you've been a fan of Chloe for a long time you would know that she's getting better at it even when she goes shopping it's not like before you may not like it now but i do believe that in a couple months or years she is going to get better at handling this .God is going to help her heal and grow and become even better at handling what some of you think is a problem as he always does . God has brought Chloe from far and is even going to take her farther coming from someone whose seen Chloe going from not wanting a boyfriend to married from not wanting kids to wanting a baby girl in the future God willing ,from tanning to not tanning just to name a few and from having so much pain from her relationship with her father to a state of forgiveness. Personally I feel like yall should give God time to do what He's famous for Hes done it before and he will do it again in Chloe's life as always. Some of yall said that it took years to overcome the hoarding this are the years she is overcoming it too try to look at it from this perspective during those years your overcoming it what would you have liked to be said to you or what helped you and then share it and for those who haven't dealt with these if it were you in that situation how would you have liked to be helped or what could you have been told that could help.it will help someone in the comments going through the same and to reach Chloe maybe email (suggestions on the ways that helped you or can help overcome it and say words you would like to have been told when going through it or if you were going through it) as she doesn't interact with comments that much . Sending lot of love to all of you and pray God heals all who are where she's at or at worse situations and thanking him for all who overcame it . And for everyone reading this you're doing good I am proud of you. Keep going others may not see it,you may not seeing it but God's got us . Always remember one foot Infront of the other . I have watched Chloe's videos for about 4 years now, but I guess as I'm getting older I'm not seeing the appeal anymore. In fact, over the past year, I have decluttered a ton and I no longer buy new products unless I need them. I clicked on this video expecting to see her decluttering a lot of her products, but it seems as if she is emotionally attached to each one -- unwilling to part with expired products that she doesn't even like! And as social media culture is moving to a standard of being more conscious with our purchasing to avoid overconsumption, it does not surprise me that this video has left a poor taste in many people's mouths. I guarantee at least 90% of these products will never be used in full, and therefore these products definitely could be donated to shelters or programs for less-fortunate (whatever doesn't need to just be tossed in the trash). Yes it is her money and her life, but it is for sure disheartening to watch someone who seems to have a pretty big shopping addiction that is leading to mass overconsumption.

Unpopular opinion ❤: Most “influencers” buy things that total the cost of her hygiene supplies, in one vlog & NO-ONE says anything about unhealthy stewardship of money… Chloe is growing in The Lord and as such the Holy Spirit will correct, teach, and guide in the timing HE sees fit. We are watching a you woman grow in real time ya’ll have a little GRACE! Cause the Lord sure does with me & you.

I love me a good variety but in order for my products to not go to waste, I give it to my teen daughter. I just cant stand the idea of my hard earned money going to waste due to expiration or just having too many things.I wouldn’t say I’m a minimalist either, but this may be overconsumption on Chloe’s part. Hopefully in the near future she realizes she can make better choices with her money.

Hi Chloe, and thanks for sharing! I really appreciate the time you and your husband spent on showing us your process. I know I've seen it in your other videos, but I don't really know how to layer fragrances that I have. Any suggestions on how to pick them?

Donate to a shelter, halfway house, something like that bc even some expired products are still useable.

Therefore, let's not make judgment on other's lives, situations, and decisions.

Do you donate? Can we see receipts? Since you're all righteous and everything
