Thats a good way to do it too! I could never do that cause I would have to move 4k books every haul lol Plus I like when they are by height/ongoing also. But your way would be easy to find something if you have a zillion manga!

My manga organization starts with houses and rooms, not books and shelves, lol. I got a few longboxes in the garage, 9 longs in my moms place, about 16 shorts in the closet and two rooms of my house with 5+ shelves each.

I'm trying to come up with some sort of standees or something that can fit snug up against the spines that work like little signs. That way you can spot the Inio Asano section, the Ito section, the Koike/Kojima section, etc. By the way my ghostly spirit will visit your house and mix up your volumes...I'll give you the ole 1, 3, 2, 4 action.

I think that is doable you just need some dimensions and a way to do it but should be easy. Oh man I always have volumes out of order already so you may end up fixing some lol

My only peeve is that the shelves dont align to the right book shelf 😅 For mine I dont use the backing to stabilize the bookcase, I use both front and back by placing the manga boxsets and hardcover boxsets on the bottom. Hardcover individual books to the back and manga paperbacks to the front. Feels sturdy enough. Your custom shelves are the best though ❤

Yup cant fit the same bookcase there so had to get a smaller one. All together it looks amazing that everything is custom fit without rando gaps so I love it! (Plus the 3k manga wall is baller!)

I got volume's 71 to 78 of one piece ,volume 4 of of oshi no ko ,volume 7 of let this grieving soul retire, vol, 36 if my hero academia, vol 14 of call of the night and vol 13 of chainsawman in . Also tomm im planning on ordering vol 5 if colorless, vol 14 of mashle magic and muscles and maybe vol 10 of uzaki-chan wants to hang out.

So the cheapest/best would be wood. You can make them hecka cheap and easy. Most places will even cut it for you if you need. Because of this I dont know any other ones cause thats all I use since its like $3 for 8 of them. I know there are some plastic ones out there that can get pricy if you need a lot. Plus they are just a few inches up so you dont get the full spine effect in the back row.

nope handmade is super easy! You dont have to do any cuts or anything plus you need custom heights and widths for the shelves or there will be those lame gaps that look bad. If you have a lowes or home depot near you or a hardware store they cut everything for you! (you can get8+ feet so way more than a whole shelf would use for $4! Super easy and cheap!

@@mistxd3068 You are going to want to know the dimensions you need (since every book case is different. but thats super easy) They will cut it for you OR you can cut it yourself there. They have a little station near the hardwoods that you can lay boards on and cut to the size you need if you want to.

im definitly not that close of a collection since the ones i do have are aot volumes 1-5, assasination classroom volumes 1-10 and soul eater which i just got from my sister since she didnt want it but i dont like it. but now thanks too you i want too complete aot and assasination classrom AND ALSO get all **40** of haikyuu but im not crazy enough too get one piece since im not ready too pour in that much money for **80** FUCKING volumes

Make sure you are not paying retail! Get them manga cheap and then its not so bad. OP is great so just get the box sets or one at a time cheaply and its easy. BUT make sure you are having fun and reading what you love and it will go smoothhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Love watching these, btw i wanted to ask this last time when you put the custom bookshelf. How do you take manga out from the back? Cause i used to put the extra shelves on the billy's and the manga would touch the top, but it was so difficult to take them out lol or did already read those so you dont take them out?

Well I put series I will not be taking out much or that are complete in the back. But when I need one its as easy as removing the one in front of it and popping the back one out! Just make sure they are not super super tightt

For non wall mounted ones I use "billys" from ikea and "essential brand" from target you can move the shelves to any height you want!

its called LibLib its a free inventory for your books or anything. They allow barcode scanning so i just scan the manga and it goes into the collection and tracks it all!

you know, im not super new to manga, but with my collection and the stuff that just happened to me with manga collecting, i might as well have started over. i have, like, nothing but pokemon and zelda with a little dragon ball mixed in. i don't like the pokemon manga, but everyone i know keeps getting me volumes of it anyway. as for zelda, it is litterally my favorite video game series and i like it even better in manga form. i am really cuatious about what i watch/read after what happened with naruto. my mom walked in at the worst moment when i was watching it. i now watch it in secret, but i don't own a single naruto volume. im actually not allowed to watch it, and thats why i dont watch an anime unless its for kids and recommended specifically to me. then yesterday, istarted watching dr stone, black clover, one piece, full metal alchemist, death note, jujutsu kiasen, one punch man, my hero acedamia, bleach, assassination classroom, inuyasha, rent a girlfriend, komi cant communicate, and jojos bizzare adventure (wich by the way, is absolute trash)
