so so organized!! don’t worry about changing pad/table for your room. you’re just going to end up changing the babies on your bed anyway! it’s so much easier and you’ll be so tired
@heathercole98513 жыл бұрын
My only recommendation is the grab EVERYTHING that's not nailed down in the hospital. Bottle cleaners, snot suckers, soap, pads, everything. Check the drawers. Anything you don't grab gets tossed anyways, and my suggestion is to grab, then ask for more of anything you think you'll use a bunch of. Sounds sketch, but it isn't. They want you to take it all, and you're paying 🤑🤑🤑 for your stay anyways lol.

I changed diapers on the bed. The mini fridge is what we went with. We got one that you could write on and I'd make notes about when I pumped/extra milk from the Haakaa. Good luck! You have this!

Everything looks great! Love videos like this 💜 I’m sure all the organizing will be so worth it in the end. I hope those babies continue to grow and hang out for awhile!

I'm so excited you made it to week 34. Everything is looking so good. I wouldn't worry about diaper pad in your room, you're going to end up changing the babies on your bed. If you need to use the changing pad from your diaper bag for underneath the babies and blanket. Sending prayers for safe and healthy delivery. So excited to meet the twins! 🧢🎀

We bought an extra cheap changing pad and just slid it under the bed on my side. Pulled it up on the bed to change in the night. So easy. But I definitely recommend having the pad, especially for baby boy. Our little guy was a fan of the mid-diaper change pee and would have soaked our sheets several times without it 🙈😂

Breast milk is good for 6 hours at room temp so you could leave it out and use it at their next feed.

Just had my twins 9 days ago. I wish my changing station in my room was higher! I have to bend over in an awkward position in order not to bump my c-section scar and my back ends up killing me after each change! Something to consider if you are having a c-section!

In addition to the regular breast pump would also suggest a catchment kind like the Haaka

Car seats should be rear facing for newborns and the bottle drawer is fine!

Babies will go home on NB diapers no matte the size. So don't buy more preemie diapers. You can just use a couple of towels and a disposable changing pad on the autumn for night changes. Simple and cheap ;)

You Will have to wash and sterilize breast pump parts right after use so in the middle of night you will be up! Also if you end up feeding breast milk from bottles you have to wash and sterilize....also if you end up exclusively pumping you will need a stronger breast pump
@TracyPodz3 жыл бұрын
Breast pump parts don’t have to be washed and sterilized each use. Just rinse and put in the fridge/cooler and you can do that for 24 hours.

Random fact: Clothes including baby clothes are often sprayed with fungacide or chemicals to prevent mold growing during international shipping and to prevent wrinkling, so it's really quite essential to wash all baby clothes first before using. Being hypersensitive I get a rash if I don't wash clothes before wearing them. Also you should avoid stairs first 6 weeks after birth so hubby should have fun playing servant?
@HeatherFern3 жыл бұрын
Oh yes, we absolutely have everything washed already!

This is a wonderful video with lots of tips, but I just had to say - car seat protectors are not safe! You should not use those.

You might of been able to get away with just one and keep them in the same one since there so use to being that close to each other. just a thought, you look fabulous
@HeatherFern3 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately you can't do that with the Snoos since they are so high-tech and soothe one baby safely. Plus, we already purchased the two so no turning back now 🤷🏼♀️😂

@@HeatherFern sounds good, I know a lot of mom's go and buy 2 cribs at first, but they are so use to being so close to each other that one crib actually would work for a while at least, but of course not after they are bigger, I pray everyday that my daughter gets pregnant with twins, she has been trying for almost 5 years now....good luck with your babies we will all be watching and waiting to hear....
