I'm just ... speechless, at your talent. You're just awesome for your age, without being patronising, but your understanding of intonation, timing and registration is wild beyond your years, at your age I was just getting to grips with 4 part hymn playing, but that was 40 years ago. Again I say your interpretation of Widors 6th is incredible, and is improving in technique. One day I must come to Norway to hear u play live.

What a lovely programme, Victoria! More interesting than the usual organ recital programmes we get at Westminster Abbey in London after Sunday Evensong! You should come over and give a recital. Andrew Nethsingha takes over as Organist and Master of the Choristers in January 2022, thank goodness! Lovely chap.

@@skycamnewzealand7966 that’s a tricky one… the Steinmeyerorgan (this one) in Nidaros is wonderful, but they also have another organ built by Joachim Wagner, which has a crystal clear, charming and majestic sound… I’ll play a concert on the Wagnerorgan later this year, so it would probably be that.

The Nidaros Cathedral in Trondheim Norway, is the most northerly Mediaeval Gothic cathedral in Europe; and is an impressive sight. The organ at its west end is what one might expect in the Coronation church, and necropolis of many Norwegian Monarchs.

Wij waren afgelopen zomer in Trondheim en bezochten de Nidaros Cathedral waar tot mijn grote genoegen dit enorme Steinmeyer orgel stond. Ik dacht meteen aan toonkunstenaar Piet van Egmond die graag speelde op het Steinmeyer orgel in de (allang afgebroken) Prinsessekerk in Amsterdam. Op YT kwam ik Victoria tegen die hier -zeker voor haar leeftijd- onvoorstelbaar en met groot gevoel en liefde voor het instrument Grieg, Reger en Widor vertolkt. Diep onder de indruk verder gezocht naar haar "toonkunsten" en die zijn er! Wat een verrijking dat jonge en muzikaal hoogbegaafde mensen zoals Victoria ons laten meegenieten. Wanneer kom je in Nederland spelen Victoria?
