ORGULLO AYMARA - Version & arrangements by LOKANDES

Based on the original version of the legendary Peruvian group "El Polen", inspired by the poetry of Carlos Dante Nava Silva "Orgullo Aymara", dedicated to the original people around Lake Titicaca, the highest lake in the world, ancient cultural nation called " The Aymaras ", now spread between Bolivia, southern Peru, northern Argentina, northern Chile and around the world (migrants).
Lokandes performs this significant song, in his style, merging traditional rhythms such as the Jach'a sikus (Extract from the Omasuyus song - Bolivia), merging with different rhythms between reague, ska, rock, huayno (Andean rhythm), aire de lando ( Afro-Peruvian rhythm)
at the same time merging different instruments such as the tarqas, jach'a sikus, sikus, quenas, celebrating the life and worldview of the great culture of the Aymaras.
The concert was at Hootananny Brixton, last summer 22nd June 2019.
