@@waymonsmith9235 I don't know if I agree there. I hear a Carlos Santana influence in her playing, which is derivative of the blues. There's some Eric Johnson technique in her playing as well and Joe Satriani. The Blues is in there it's just very subtle.

Not so much they as she. Orianthi wrote all the songs and music, played all the instruments bar drums on one track, recorded it all in her dad's studio, mastered it and produced the CD, at the time only available on her website, run by her sister and designed by a school friend. IIRC she was 18 when she recorded this.

Good stuff, but she can use some backup vocals to pull it all together. There's a lot of Clapton like moments, which is always a plus.
