Nusrat sahab was one of a kind in that he always sung qawwali based on Indian classical music. Many qawwals over the years combined qawwali with various types of music, but Nusrat sahab and his family preserved traditional qawwali singing. Many experts and voice coaches have used superlative adjectives to describe his voice quality and control so no need for naïve like me to comment about it. All I would say that his voice had a hypnotic effect on anyone who heard it.
