this is a comment for russian fans of Origa (and for people who know how to use a translator):

I always though it was majorly Russian because my first language is Russian, so I perceive those sentences as dominant, however looking into the official lyric text I can see that its divided almost evenly, to my wonder it even has latin which I couldn't hear at all, VERSE russian, CHORUS latin/engilsh, BRIDGE russian ABAB system, where A-russian and B-latin/english. Anyways Origa is how Japanese spoken people pronounce Olga, and I believe she was a Russian singer who passed away from cancer, correct me if im wrong Mana du vortes, mana du vortes Aeria gloris, aeria gloris Mana du vortes, mana du vortes Aeria gloris, aeria gloris I am calling, calling now Spirits rise and falling Calling, calling, in the depth of longing Mana du vortes, mana du vortes Aeria gloris, aeria gloris Stand alone… Where was life when it had a meaning… Stand alone… Nothing's real anymore and… Calling, calling now, for the place of knowing There's more that what can be linked Calling, calling now, never will I look away For what life has left for me Yearning, yearning, for what's left of loving Calling, calling now, spirits rise and falling… Calling, calling, in the depth of longing… Mana du vortes, mana du vortes Aeria gloris, aeria gloris Mana du vortes, mana du vortes Aeria gloris, aeria gloris

It’s fits because the director mixed a little of each iteration of Ghost in the Shell for the movie. Many scenes were 1 for 1 recreations from the original movie and some aspects were taken from SAC. Such as the first mission in the movie was pretty much the same as the first episode of SAC. And Majors appearance in the movie looks more like her ARISE appearance.

Thank you, I felt it. Thank you for making this. This was a whole new experience with just the music and the visuals, and I couldn't ask for a better person to portray the Major. Even after years of being a fan of the original literature and series, this was so amazing it brought me to tears.
I saw the film with no expectations. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't good. They could've gone without the origin plot. They could have left out the parents entirely (like everything else did), and had more Tachikoma. They did the visuals, Batou and all that was fantastic. While I don't mind the Japanese brain in a white body (because this is Ghost in the Shell, people can change bodies like hats), I think the issue could have been handled 100x better if full body prosthetics were ALREADY a normal thing and there were multiple people sharing the same model of body (LIKE IN THE SERIES AND THE MOVIE AND MANGA FFS) that would have at least made it 100x better.

I have a feeling that they held back on some of the themes in the story, such as full-body prosthesis being normalized, to make it more palatable for Hollywood audiences. Blockbuster sci-fi films are still catching up to the idea of blurring the lines between human consciousness and computer programming, which makes the original animated Ghost in the Shell that much more impressive. I have the feeling that artificial intelligence becoming real is still unnerving for a lot of people, so this idea of actually digitizing the human soul is one that delves even deeper into the bioethical frontier.
@davis22845 жыл бұрын
Just my opinion, I was majorly disappointed with Batou. I'm thinking Kevin Durand would have been much better.

The original anime from 1995 was the movie that inspired the MAtrix franchise . In pursuit of a more accurate depiction of movement and effects the animation director decided to fly the entire animation staff to the research facility in Guam. The knowledge acquired during their stay there was to test many different types of firearms and how they manifest themselves under to different surfaces this also included different sounds which were recorded which is why the film is considered an animation masterpiece.

Apart from the pitstop-esque during the Kuze man hunt (seriously, they went to like places to get him and spent like 5 mins at each), I thought the story was actually good. Simple enough to be easily accessible, yet nuanced enough to have philosophical discussions, especially with the Japanese mother subplot. Sadly though, it's not enough in either way for the masses, as the Transformers audience will be bored for the philosophy parts, and the purists will be pissed at not doing it like the 95 anime (even though that wasn't even the original GitS). That's not even considering the whitewashing accusers. Oh well, at least enough people in the middle ground liked it and made it a cult hit, with fans gathering (and half-way succeeding) to get the musical score released, fans making amvs just like they did with the anime, and the 3D Blu-Rays apparently sold out.

You did very good work. Yours should have been the official movie sound track. The Origa songs are part of what made Ghost in the Shell a benchmark in the amine genre. There are several others like Yu-Yu-Hakisho, Inyuyasha, DBZ, Naruto, The Last Air Bender, and Bleach and a few others. Also Pokémon. Each one of these made a leap in the anime story telling genre. Ghost in the Shell was the full package in this: the spectacular opening theme song sung by Origa, the opening theme's techno-orchestra sound, the action sequences, the storyline, the skill of the voice actors, the character development, the graphics and visuals, and the strong delivery of the full product. Ghost in the Shell is a benchmark and Origa's song was a big part of the reason why. Thanks for your work. I enjoyed that.

Honestly this is the best ever. There was some parts in the movie that I didn't like overall I loved the live action. Sometimes you gotta give new things a try. Nicely done on this video.

The visuals was perfection but they miss te most important part about the ghost and identity.

I really don't get why so many people hated on the live action ghost in the shell movie. It was after all a great prequel. It's also one of the only two live action anime adaptations that turned out good, but that's because both of them were passion projects made by fans of the franchise that desired above all else to bring these stories to life in ways that even those that refuse to accept them any other way can enjoy. That other movie being Dragon ball evolution... Lol not even close it's Battle Angel Alita.

Amazing song and it goes so well with the Movie footage I love this movie don't care what anyone says
I’ve only been watching Stand Alone Complex so far and I really need to back into it, but I’ll give this movie a chance. I’m not expecting it to be great but I’ll give it a go.

I was so mad when I noticed the ending of the live action movie wasn´t Inner Universe. Origa deserved it´s requiem. She didn´t died in vain.
@havoc14824 жыл бұрын
So? They had the "Reincarnation" theme from the 1995 movie during the credits instead. Much more fitting than Inner Universe since this movie was an adaptation of the 1995 film, not S.A.C.

I liked the movie as it is, the song works great with it.
