Origami Ball Ornament

How to fold ball ornaments very pretty for Christmas, illumination, etc. two-ball ornaments are made out of one-copy (office) paper. Or, try making four out of one-A4 or Letter size paper. Smaller the prettier, I think.

Wrapping paper.... Making them out of wrapping paper would make them go a step beyond this. Anyways Awesome Tutorial... I'm really tempted to pull out some of my wrapping paper and and try to make a few. Have a Merry Christmas!

動画の手順通り試してみました。 最初に試作したものは、山折り谷折りの箇所で紙がしわくちゃになってしまい、出来上がりが疲れたクラゲのようになってしまいました(^^; ６個ぐらい練習して、やっと整った形で仕上げられるようになり、本当にツリー用のオーナメントにぴったりで感動しました。 ありがとうございます！

Love your precision folding to get a corrugated ball. Did this ornament model because I'm looking for PURE origami pumpkin with color change in the stem. Saw a video for papercraft pumpkin with similar body, but used glue and cuts for the join and tacked on a separate piece for color-change stem. I believe a PURE origami pumpkin based on your model is possible. (I'm gonna try.)

9:03 The most difficult part. It seems easy but the paper just won't cooperate and it crumples or blocks the pleats from overlapping. It's hard to figure out your technique from the top-down perspective. I don't know how to support the paper with fingers to achieve those triangulal mountain and valley folds😢

Update: Completed with a letter size regular white printing paper! Pretty easy to follow but tedious. But struggled a lot at the end where you had to fold over the flaps to interlock the whole piece together. One of the diamonds ripped at the middle so it became even more fragile😭So I ended up having to tape the interlocking flaps in to better hold the shape (glue works too). Nonetheless, the end result is cute ^^ Touching it up with a ribbon/other decorative elements should hide any flaws🤫 I recommend using more sturdy paper or just be very careful if using thin paper towards the end😅

1/4 (21 cm x 7.43 cm)でも出来ますが小さくて折りにくいと思います。初めは1/2 (29.7 cm x 10.5 cm)がおすすめです。動画ではA4一枚から始めて途中(4:31)で半分に切り離します（一枚から2個できます）

大きな紙を三等分するのと違って、細い部分なので見当が付けやすいです。ピンクと白の幅（2:40）が同じになる様に気を付けます。心配でしたら、ここ一ヵ所だけなので測るのもアリかと思います📐
