Long winded story…. But somehow a past memory came up. I was working in a bookstore in Piccadilly many years ago and was having a conversation with my ex co-worker at the time about what books we had in rotation that time, he recommended I look into origami and how it changed his way of thinking and kept him in tip top mental state! My having an obsessive personality, looked into it and it peaked my curiosity! As I started getting better it at each day, it become my go-to favourite thing to do to unwind! Origami teaches you so much! The constructs of one’s mind as it lands on paper, the possibilities with just one paper is endless! And fascinating what the mind can achieve with just instructions alone! It also teaches you to super focus one step at a time and also practice makes perfect!!

What a great tutorial! Very easy to follow and I cannot stop to make these dragonflies again and again! 🙂 The only thing I have to mention: you have to cut twice, not only the upper but also the lower "tail" (I hope, people will understand, what I mean). In your video it looks as if you are only cutting the "upper tail" - that won't work!

Nice dragonfly, but anoying that it looks like you would cut only one half with the scissors. I did not understand it and watched it over and over again

I don't know how he expects me to do the same as him. If I need to pause the video like 5 times to try to understand him again, I should be a little more specific when it comes to doing the doubles and the way in which to do them.

Couldnt do it, you keep putting your finger over the part we have to bend, and cutting without showing you must do it in both parts

this isn't origami.

Nontraditional or something? I just went with the translation of fold paper

@BIGBigBoiNICKThe problem with that definition is that kirigami involves cuts throughout the figure or that's what I understand, I mean there shouldn't be anything related to origami, and that figure has more origami than anything else.

I know he tries hard, but he could do it better so that at least I understand how to do it.
