Hello, I am Hiroshi, Colonel K, a Japanese army lieutenant colonel in reserve. Now I show you my new Origami fighter jet "F-35A Lightning II".
You can make it with plain paper. You can also make it with my original template. I explain both ways in this video. You can download the template for free from my website (origamiairforc...). The template is colored gray, but no insignia or other markings are drawn (so that you all can attach them freely later) .
I am releasing this F-35A after a blank of about 6 months from the previous F-16. My father became ill last October and died in November. On January 1 of this year, a major earthquake occurred in the Hokuriku region of our country, and I was called up by the army to work as a psychiatrist to support the affected people. All these events severely fatigued me and delayed the development of this F-35A.
Like all my previous works, it can be made with a single sheet of paper, without cutting at all, and is flyable. Additionally, most of my works require glue or staples, which are no longer necessary for this F-35A.
This work should be made with rectangular paper with a side length ratio of 1 : root 2. If the paper is thin enough, A4 size is acceptable; otherwise, use a large sheet of paper such as A3 size.
This video will be continued in Part 2.
