I wrote a letter for my elder sister's doughter when I find out that my sister is going to have a baby, 2 years ago... Now we will congratulate her birthday party(not a party only sister's and her husband's family will join) I will give it to sister and want her to hold it until my niece will grow up. Bonjour et merci pour la vidéo :) Mais c'est mieux si vous utilisez un papier qui est différent au recto et au verso. Ça peut être une feuille qui a deux couleurs recto/verso, ou une feuille blanche déjà usagée (avec le texte d'un côté et de l'autre totalement vierge) ou encore vous auriez pu *remplir l'un des côtés de votre feuille rose de motifs* _(“doodling” ou “zentangle”)_ *afin qu'on distingue bien le recto du verso.* Le fait d'utiliser une feuille qui n'est pas uniforme, d'un côté comme de l'autre, permet non seulement aux débutantes de mieux comprendre les étapes et de bien distinguer les plies. Mais, en plus, pour les personnes qui utilisent une feuille usagée comme moi (qui est donc déjà utilisé d'un côté) ça permet de savoir de quel côté on doit faire les pliages pour que le côté usagé ne soit pas visible à la fin. Là je ne sais absolument pas si je dois plier en laissant le texte à l'intérieur ou à l'extérieur, pour que ce soit le moins visible possible à la fin. Pour celle qui cherche la réponse : 0:16 *Pour commencer, il faut placer le côté usé de la feuille en direction le ciel.* Ce qui veut signifie qu'il faut que le côté usé (que vous ne voulez pas voir) soit placé dans votre direction, et le côté vierge de la feuille (ce qui sera visible à la fin) doit être en direction de la table. Avant de commencer à plier, *vérifiez bien que l'intérieur de la feuille est celui que vous ne voulez pas voir (côté vierge vers le table).* 0:30 *Attention à ne pas trop appuyer sur toute la longueur* lors du premier plie. Veuillez à ne faire le plier que jusqu'à la moitié, sinon ça se verra à la fin de l'origami sur l'une des deux parties du cœur (regardez ie que ça donne ici 0:05 sur la partie droite du coeur de l'enveloppe bleu). 1:11 Là aussi il n'y a *pas besoin d'appuyer jusqu'au bout, seulement jusqu'au 3/4.* Sinon c'est moche et on verra un trait au milieu sur le devant de votre enveloppe se trouvant en dessous du cœur. Dans la vidéo la personne s'y prend mal lors de cette étape. *Elle devrait plutôt commencer à appuyer pour faire le pli depuis la gauche vers la droite, puis s'arrêter au 3/4* (là où il y a déjà un marquage, du plie vertical). -------------------------------------------------------------- 0:14 *Le ratio d'une A4 est de 1,414* (feuille en "mode paysage"). • Le ratio d’aspect est le nombre obtenu en divisant dimension horizontale par la dimension verticale : *29,7÷21 = 1.414* • POUR CALCULER LA TAILLE D'UNE FEUILLE EN FORMAT PLUS GRAND : Il faut multiplier le ratio par la largeur de la nouvelle feuille, pour obtenir la nouvelle hauteur et savoir où découper la feuille. Exemple : 34 cm x 1,414 = 48,07cm *Vous pouvez donc faire cet origami, en forme de très grande enveloppe, avec un papier qui fait 34x48,7cm*

for people with US letter size paper, it still works, the difference is that for the final fold you need to go higher, so the heart point will be further down and off the edge of the paper instead of hitting the very bottom edge. Just know it works and when you get to the final step you'll see what I'm trying to explain :)
