I've been a massive fan of your work since 2001, I remember buying your first book and having people ask me to make them models in it, then one of them bought me your second book before I could get to the Barnes & Noble to buy it myself. I really hope to make it to one of the conventions or at least up north to visit your Origami club. I miss seeing V'ann Cornelius at San Diego's Origami club. Thanks for posting these videos and I'm sure you know but we love the work you do and everything you do for the craft. All the best.

I don’t like people who say “THIS IS TOO HARD IM UNSUBSCRIBING” or “I CANT MAKE THIS!!” It has complex folds and it is obviously hard to make so if you can’t make it try it later or try it when you get more complex at origami

Remember people, if you failed, you can stop, make a mini one, and if you're able to fold that, you are able to make this! I also recommend cutting the paper horizontally then tape the two pieces of paper to make one big sheet of paper!
@judzos
@judzos 8 жыл бұрын

Nice! It wasn't that hard to be honest. I did start Origami like five years ago. Just very tedious. All the others are probably just beginners or they are just trying this model with zero experience. They should fold the mini magic ball first or some other models. ❤❤❤ Thanks for everything Jeremy.

I found a trick to folding the diagonals, is the middle line a perfectly aligned, the rest are automatically aligned.

I saw another video where the guy used 1:33 paper to make a model. Where would I get paper like that? I've searched and can't find anything.

I use Adobe Premiere which lets you animate effects over time segments. You choose when you want the effect to start taking effect and when you want it to finish. That's a very powerful tool.

Try the simpler magic ball to get the hang of it here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/bWaqgpmunbyrjMk It's the same idea, but it's more difficult when the pleats are smaller.

How well does it hold together on extremely flexible movements like turning it inside out for example? I've made ones with tape before and am about to do the diagonals on your model and was wondering if it holds together well?
