You might want to make two identical units and glue them back-to-back to hide the scrap cardboard bit...it would then look nice from either side.

This paper is doubled sided Japanese paper by Daiso. Amazing paper....

Totally awesome, I was looking for a project to use all these weird shapes of origami paper that are left-overs and too small to do anything else! This is totally addicting! ^________^ I am making my second mandala now!
