Thank you so very much for uploading this Lizzie, I cannot get out to buy a poppy, in fact I can hardly get out of bed! :) I am in great bone and muscle pain since my booster jab on Saturday. I was equally in difficulties with first two jabs but better this than Covid. Standing in a queue for 3/4 hrs did not help but to get the jab at all is a "Boost" in itself! I am also lucky to have wonderful support and I feel for those who do not. This is a battle against the pandemic and maybe in a couple of years a flower will be designated to remember those fallen in this battle. I shall make this poppy and also an Iris or Lilly to remember the ones I cared for who have been struck down by the virus. Thanks again Lizzie. So many this morning will be so happy to see your demonstration! Kind regards, Eryk :-)

So very kind indeed - this is based on a traditional flower so just a little modified but such a joy to find a way to make a precious poppy. Thank you for your very kind words and care - sending my support and encouragement back and well wishes and continued strength and inspiration in these challenging times. Happy folding!

Sorry it was frustrating. Origami is all about persistence and being kind to yourself - it often does take a lot of frustration in learning something new, but it's also why it can be rewarding. There's also no obligation to try either - each to their own. Take care.
