the middle of my rose can be filled with a chocolate with red wrapping (no other rose can do the same! Take that, Tadashi! 🤣) Alternatively it can also be filled with a couple of smaller units

Damnit, now I have to make another rose variation to fit a chocolate in the middle.

Man... You are the one who got me obsessed with the origami roses almost 10 years ago and your last model still got me, would you please make another tutorial for the Miura ken rose with how to make the details?

The pentagon rose is really my favorite! The proportions and the overall appearance is closer to a real rose than most of the square-based roses, and the hole in the middle isn't too big. In terms of difficulty, it's a bit hard but you probably won't have a hard time if you're used to fold kawasaki-based roses from square paper. It's my absolute go to when making gifts!

Hello tadash mori, I am south korean student andI want to thank you for letting me know the world of origami! I've first watched your video, darkness dragon tutorial in the age of 10 and I am 18 years old now. Because of the school job to do, I havent worked on origami for years but still, I remember you with the old days me folding happily on the origami. In the past, I was so interested in origami that I've watched your one video about a hundred times. Sorry about my bad english, but I just wanted to tell you that thank you for making me happy in the past. And welcome back!!

I recently folded the pentagon rose and I love it. I think the pentagon giving it 5 orders of symmetry make it look much more organic than a rose based on a square as squares and 90 degree angles tend to look more artificial to us

OMG.... It took me 9 years to fold the Kawasaki.... Now I'm 35 so if I start trying now, maybe in my 70's i can do the pentagon and in the 90's the Miura-ken? Lol.... All of them have their beauty. Really like the how good the first one looks and how simple it should be to fold, since you put her first in the list! Gonna start with that one!

Have you ever try some more difficult Naomiki Sato’s roses other the base version? I think some of them could be on par with Lang’s rose. Edit: Also, FYI Sato also has a square version of the rose.

Gosh dam! I wish I could post a picture in comments. But back in 2020 I did a project folding a rose everyday for the year (when I started I did not think the plandemic would've happened). I started with 10 ish models and ended the year with over 30, many having slight variations from another model. I never did the lang rose cause that requires a lot of crack cocaine, and sato's pentagon base cause it wasn't a square. Also I didn't know you invented a modular rose that does look decent. Part of the collection does include sato's roses but variations from a square base. But the point is, your list is like a 3rd of the many roses out there.

I struggled a lot to make the miura ken rose, even though I already folded it before. It’s really so hard to fold it so I limit it to one per decade.
