Came here to make origami with my daughter. Found out the level was too hard for her. So ended up making it myself. Thanks to clear instructions i managed to finish something just cute enough to make her happy. I m a proud dad :)

proud of you mr. I remember how my dad and mom struggled to make those origami crafts when I was a kid. I used to read weekly kid magazine and there were tutorials of origami crafts .. I always wanted to try those but i failed every time and I wanted to my dad and mom to make those for me...origami is not easy so even they were also not able to finish origami crafts succesfully .. some of these were notvery good but as a kid those crafts worths alot for me. and My dad and mom were heros for kiddy me... those crafts are still with me and i never forget all of tthose memories ..... I bet your daughter also very proud of you MR.

I like how the head pops out into a nice 3d shape. I think the crimps definitely made this model at least medium level difficulty. And the fact that the folds have to be exact at the start or it avalanches into out of shape folds. Great post beginner model.

Lumango same for me. I’ve had to fold the chest back, fold the ears in slightly, fold the rear legs so it sits upright, and fold the front legs down to look like it’s holding something and it looks more squirrel like. Otherwise it’s just a cute fox.

@CHOW KEI TUNG周紀曈 I tried a kangaroo once and gave up. Dunno. But mostly I just try it until I get it right. ^°^ I even managed to fold the dragon now and they definitely make some good presents. So, do not give up! :D

It took over an hour, but finally it's done ! I used 25cm square kraft paper. Thanks for the great tutorial !

My first try on this beautiful squirrel was at night about 01:00 o'clock, when I wasn't able to sleep. I thought I should do something that makes me really tired. Guess what :D! It worked from the start! I even did it twice! But it wasn't that easy. So afterwards I slept quite well ;)... I tried it again several times last days and it didn't work for about 10 times or even more. But finally, a few minutes ago, it worked again and I finished another squirrel :). To cut a long story short: I love your well explained / showed tutorials, that you share your really great ideas with us and nobody should give up because they failed! Try again! Keep cool. Stay exited. I swear it will work at a time. It's just the same with life. Don't give up because you failed - even if several times. Stay exited about the goal you want to reach :).

I love how the paper is precisely cut and because of the difficulty, it's sometimes hard to replicate the origami if you're not using the right paper

the foil seems much more forgiving than the paper I'm used to using

I used a thicker paper and really had trouble with some of the folds, once it got a few layers thick.

@@sebastianhenley8519 origami paper is usually pretty thin, but durable. with the exception of foil sheets - that is. foil is a bit more unforgiving (it always will hold the creases) but is easier to fold and holds it's shape a lot better in the end.

I did it with a 15 x 15 cm origami paper. It was a little hard to fold with a smaller piece of paper, but it turned out fine. It's adorable. Thank you.

This is really awesome ! I managed to make it but I feel like sometimes you make very complicated folds kind of instinctively and I struggle to follow you. Like the tail fold for examples. Nevertheless, you're really good at this and I think that if they pause enough and dedicate enough time and effort to this, anyone would be able to make this ! Thanks and keep up the good work !

from 9:58 to about 12:12 is quite easy because I have folded numerous origami Walle. The 3D folds have gotten way easier. Beautiful model. Thank you. I used 15 by 15 cm paper and its a baby squirrel.

My hypothesis this morning is that I can probably tell roughly what size paper I'm likely to need just from the length of your videos. Anything over half an hour and im looking at minimum 30cm; since this is only 20mins I'll skip the part where you recommend a size and go in blind with a 15cm sheet. Let's see how I go :)

So cute! I made it from a square of common copy paper sheet (21cm) and it was pretty easy. A little difficult passage was only the tail fold, but with your video everything is super clear, thanks! Is it a “box pleating” model, or similar?
