This is the REAL Origami Stapler instead of the pretend one in Paper Mario The Origami King - Stapler Boss.

About the Intro... I didn't lie! I said, "MAGICALLY it even staples." It was a genuine sleight-of-hand magic trick that took many takes to successfully film without accidentally flashing the staples. I'm hoping my creating, performing and revealing of this trick might inspire you real magicians out there to develop and perfect this trick so that you might be able to actually perform it in front of live audiences.
How did I make the strip of staples? I first folded the square of gold foil in half so the white side was hidden. Then I made the two mountain folds to determine the width of the staples (which I matched to the the width of the inner silver part of the stapler) and folded whatever was extra toward the middle on the underside of the staples. Then I flattened the model and made series of mountain folds along the whole length to make it look like a strip of staples. And finally I refolded the two mountain folds.
I designed this model after the November 2022 Eastern Hemisphere Members Livestream during which member Dhiyan requested I try to design a stapler. I did manage to design a mini stapler on the spot, but after the livestream I challenged myself to design a better stapler, and this model was the result that evolved over many attempts.
