Hey Chris, Thanks for your reviews. I’ve watched some of your mattress reviews and searched for a new mattress for myself. However, more I have searched, more confused. I am a side sleeper and like plush feeling mattress(no back pain usually). I am considering between Origin Pro, Koala Plus and Sealy back support harmony deluxe. If you have any idea that which mattress is the plushest? And any other advice for me?
@motivatedtravel3 күн бұрын
Hi Sharon - I haven't tried the Sealy, but I can say that the new Koala Plus is plusher in feeling than the Origin Pro, which is quite firm. Comfortable but firm. The new Emma range is quite soft (too much for me), but I decent in between is the Sleep Republic. It's a really comfy bang for buck bed.

@ thanks for your recommendation. If you consider of foam mattress and hybrid mattress (foam+spring), which mattress do you think better?
@motivatedtravel2 күн бұрын
@@sharonc2007 I prefer a hybrid, as it offers much better support and structure to the mattress. Preferably in hot climates, even a bit of latex is good. But if back complaints aren't an issue for you, then a full memory foam will suffice.

I just got mine 4 days ago, I agree a bit slow on shipping and box was very ordinary compared to my Ecosa that had wheels and a special blade to assist with opening plastic, I got this because even though I love my Ecosa of 4 years I was cooking in summer, I have my bed in front of fire in winter and I had the same issue, I must say I personally found the Origin to be a lot firmer than the rating, I think I am going to end up getting the mattress topper to get that marshmallow softness, however it is doing a great job keeping me cool, I am being kept warm but the bed is not overheating and I am getting better sleep, and that's what's most important, you gave a great review.

Thank you for the lovely words and adding your experience into the mix. Definitely firmer than the Ecosa, but glad to hear it's doing the job for you with the cooling!

Dude, I sold these mattress. These hybrid mattress, least this model Origin Hybrid Pro creaked under 5 years regardless of bodyweight. Once the spring coils are under compression for months. The whole integrity is compromised. Not to mention, if you're sharing this mattress, the motion transfer is to the max!

Really? So yo had it for 5 years? I've only had the one I've got for 6 months or so, but haven't encountered these issues yet.
@macrick2 ай бұрын
@@motivatedtravel The mattress was in the showroom for least 2 years and it's creaking. The issues will not be immediate. 6 months is hardly a gauge.

Great review. Just ordered this in King size. I skipped the Emma mattresses and ecosa pure as well though they were on sale because they didn’t have a firm setting. Origin is on sale at the moment and seemed like the one for me because my partner and I prefer the “Firm” firmness level on a mattress. do you think this is considered “Firm” but has some luxe soft feel on top? Liked the koala mattress based on observation/reviews - do you think I made the right decision?
@motivatedtravel5 ай бұрын
Thank you! Firmness is subjective, but I feel like the Origin hits that mark of being firm, but with a soft caress on top that feels luxe. So, I think it will hit the mark for you. Worst case you can return. I did try returning one, and it worked well and I got a full refund. So you can be confident in that outcome as well.

What would you recommend for both partners who hot sleeper and who wants back support but also a side sleeper?
@motivatedtravel5 ай бұрын
I think you're on the money with Origin Hybrid Pro or LumbarCloud. Unreal for hot sleepers, and I'm finding it good on my back, and easy to sleep on my side.

Hi mate! Have just watched your review on both the Lumbercloud and the Hybrid Pro. Have had some back issues in the past/am a larger human at 6’5/115kg, which one would you end up recommending? Think by reading a fair few different reviews the origin seems the best option for back support!
@motivatedtravel5 ай бұрын
Hi Mate, I'm almost the same dimensions as you and have a long history of lower back issues. I'm currrently using the LumbarCloud. I'm finding it quite comfortable and haven't woken up with a sore back at all. I did need to get a good topper for it though as I wasn't impressed by the dimple design. But overall, it's doing well be me so far.

Hey mate I am trying to decide between the origin hybrid pro and the ecosa pure. Which one would you recommend as they are both similar in pricing
@motivatedtravel5 ай бұрын
I'm pretty sure they've updated the Pure since the one I had, so I'm a little hesitant to give a nod to one of the other. I will say if you want support and a mattress that will keep you cool, then the Origin Hybrid Pro definitely won't let you down. My experinece with the Ecosa is that's a bit softer and hotter running, while still being a good mattress.

Hey mate what would you recommend for a side sleeper from your reviews? Thanks!
@motivatedtravel5 ай бұрын
From my personal experience, if you're side sleeping, you don't want the firmness to be too soft, or it throws your back a bit. You tend to want plenty of zones, and good springs, with a nice later of softer memory foam over the top. The Hybrid Pro is a good option in this regard. If you want a bit softer (as in, you don't have a bad back) the Sleep Republic and the Koala are pretty good. Emma ZG I found a little too hard for side-sleeping.

Is this a UK review aa my big concern is how Origin is trading. They dont display any UK address on their website and I've also noticed the trust pilot reviews are not verified and in the main reviews on pillows. Why would a company not display its full UK address and even when you ask for it they wont give you the address
