Okay this is really good the opening being incredible and the reconstruction scene being very creative but I do have one complaint and isn't the spark hosed in the chest and I think what you wanted as that the blue thing attached to his neck is his spark but I think it would have worked better if he kept the same body and just had parts swapped until he looked finished. But overall this is a great film with awesome practical effects and brilliant props with ship being my favourite, the animation is fluid and alive and the printing for the Decepticon logos couldn't have been easy either.

Thank you, I appreciate your detailed review! Well, making the head and spark attached and taken out at once was the most practical solution I could think of at the time. About the thing you said, keeping the same body, I had an idea of making a sequence when the remaining bodyparts from protoforms are getting smelted down, and from that substance the parts for the artificial body are created, so technically it's the same body. This idea didn't make it to implementation, but I gues lore wise it's canon.

Your stop motion skills are off the charts, form the lab equipments, to the individual bots, to the fucking spaceship you’ve crafted. The movements and scenes are also very well made, props to you.

I did this project in summer, so I had plenty of time. It was quite long, I think about a month and a half, but that includes the creating of the carrier ship which was alone two weeks.

He was born. The subtitle said it's the Well of Allsparks, and that's what creates new generations of Cybertronians in Transformers lore, at least in Transformers Prime, that's the only one I saw that also has this Well thing in it. I don't know what it's called in other shows, but this is where I got the name. It's located in the core of Cybertron, with tunnel to the surface. Basically it's the spark of Primus, the one who created the Cybertronian species and transformed into Cybertron itself. The way I tried to visualize this process in the animation: the Allspark shoots out a single spark, and on it's way to the surface, his body, limbs are forming. That's the natural process. And in my story, the Decepticons kidnap these newborn Protoforms, and rebuild them as their own soldiers against their will.

Did you try with the phone camera? Because if so, I see what's the problem, it doesn't have a stop motion function. Stop motion is many pictures playing after eachother at a specific speed (frames per second) and it makes it look like the figure is moving. So yeah the app's name is Stop Motion Studio if you want to try it.
