I don’t understand the convolution of facts about the origin of Ham’s wife and the origin of “Blacks”. If the first humans, Adam and Even, were Africans, doesn’t it make sense that they were “Black”? Doesn’t it also make sense that the different “colored” people subsequent to Eve spun off from the “Black”? It’s like a believer in the Abrahamic religions asking “Which came first-the egg or the chicken?”, when their books state that god created the fowls of the air; not their eggs. Why does the Zondervan Bible dictionary describe Ham as the progenitor of all African nations, but not the Negroes?
