I had a Similar Introduction to relic collecting. My Grandmother Lived Adjacent to the Chalmette Battle Field, my Dad grew up there in the 1940's. My Relatives Use to Laugh Because Every Easter I would go Hunting for Cannon Balls... long ago collected. However they use to place them around the Oak Trees and my Dad could remember them there in the 1950s. Fast Forward to the Late 1990's and I was Pestering James Cohen Sr from Royal St... The Father a WW2 Vet was A Great Guy! He Sold me a broken , relic condition M1861 Norfolk for $100 in 1998 when I was 10. Iam Currently Working with Early Muskets and Napoleonic Swords ; Your Videos are Great and Fantastic for Inspiration!

I knew some of this - and some I did not know. Being just an internet buyer - I have never met you in person but still feel a connection/friendship/kinship/whatever. Thanks for sharing some very personal things. I know myself how much it hurts of lose your wife to an illness. Cheers from Pennsylvania, Bob Nolton
