This is amazing! Discovering Gabby 100 years later picked up the Gymnastics baton and won! Gave me chills.

That’s AMAZING that gymnastic runs in her DNA!!! We are attracted to certain things for a reason because it’s genetically apart of our line. I love genealogy and ancestry!

That was absolutely beautiful. The media and many spectators owe Gabby Douglas an apology. She is a gem and I don’t think we really understood that in real time.

why did you not tell that he served as a servent in the Confederate Army? You should not cover the truth, just because you find it distasteful.
@ChantéMcCormick-e1d2 ай бұрын
What does the prove for you? Some enslaved people were indeed forced to accompany their masters who were Conservative soldiers, and they continued to work for them behind Confederate lines BY FORCE. Any high school US History textbook will tell you that, so this is not the flex you think it is.

Lots of black confederate soldiers fought because they were given a guarantee to free themselves and their family. So, either way they were freeing slaves.

He did not serve in the Confederacy. That's another person.

I hate to say this (HATE. to say this), but this video is low-key featuring (licensed-free, I’m sure) p*rn music in the background. The incidental music being used here has 100% been used in at least one adult film that I know of (in a great scene, actually), and so I won’t lie, I got taken completely out of what is no doubt an inspiring story. But.. anyway, when all is said and done, I’m just glad those two women are happy with what they learned.
