...joined the club when it first started. As a kid, I was blown away when I received a large tube in the mail with giant posters that were part of the membership fee. I still have the one that's a copy of Kirby"s Captain America #106 cover. The magazine looked like someone wrote it on a typewriter, and came with little stickers, but it was the posters (even Steranko did one) that impressed me and I ordered several more. Those posters are classics now. It's written that the artists were never paid for the artwork they did for the club.

ASM 700 featured the Ditko cover in cover. Someone just told me that book is going for 1K+. There may or may not be another time the cover was published in color. That book may or may not appear in a future video on this channel. :-) Stay tuned.
