I don't think even CDPR realized just how successfully they made Judy. For me, this is like the new standard for how romance should go down for future games.

I think this is actually true for all 4 romances, they just show four different kinds of passion depending on the situation each potential couple finds itself in as well as the personalities involved. Judy/FemV just resonates most with all of us as it's not just the genuine love, attraction and passion we feel between the two but also the massive amount of empathy we have for them as you (as a player) just want those two to finally find a bit of happiness in the hell that is Night City after it was so bad to either of these women (the loss of Evelyn, getting disillusioned with the Moxes and Maeko's betrayal for Judy, the loss of her team, her 1st death and only little time to find a cure against dying again for V). That's also why people consider leaving with the Aldecaldos to be the best/most positive ending: V finally finds a way to leave this hellhole of a city without having to fear of being alone (which is revealed in that session with the doll in Clouds to be one of her deepest fears: ending up/dying alone).

@@TV22011980 Exactly. Also since I saw the parallel between V losing her best friend and Judy losing hers (friend? or was Ev her gf at the time?) I was sure this was likely the 'supposed romance' option. I haven't yet tried other walkthroughs with other options, but it might be like Liara and Morrigan in Mass Effect and DA: O, while there are lots of valid romance options, these apparently are most detailed, fulfilling and story affecting ones. One thing I find Cyberpunk severely lacking, though, is bonding time, there's not enough time to get really attached to characters in Cyberpunk, compared to Bioware games. That's partly because of it being kind of shorter game overall, but also because in ME and DA: O those characters are always with you, as part of your team and party. Here, outside of their quests and very few dialogues there's basically no character development, no ways of getting to know them better. Which is sad. That said Cyberpunk surely wins not in quantity but in quality of everything, it pulls it all out with better storytelling, directing and great animation. To think that most of facial and head animation was AI generated - mind blown. Especially comparing it to the fiasco that ME: Andromeda was at launch with their animations :D That said, I'm looking forward to a walkthrough with Male V and Panam as romance option. While Judy takes big part in the first half of the story, Panam dominates the second. So wonder how that plays out. How much her dialogues change if she's romanced. Because if they dont then it's a huge missed opportunity.

​@@dachie3271 Changed how? Changed where? With mods? But yeah, I've researched it a bit and came to conclusion that on it's own romance paths for both Judy and Panam are good. However, as an overall ending, V has an option of (SPOILER) having an ending with both a close friend and a lover. Male V can only have that ending with a lover. Or a lover+friend combo in one, but that's not exactly the same. So basically female V can leave NC with Panam AND Judy, which is great on it's own but I also like the idea that V helps Judy leave NC like she lately wanted to. In case of Male V you do get a video message from Judy saying she left, but if they at least made her talk about finding V 'out there' for a drink or something, that'd be much better. As it is she just says like 'yo you still in the city? Well I left. Bye". After everything even Male V and Judy been through kinda expected more. But this is the major thing that make CP2077 a bit less than Bioware games in terms of character development. In DA and MassEffect all major characters are always with you, but most importantly they all take close part in the main quest. And with CP it seems like only Panam gets to do any real shit about the main quest. Well and Johny of course. So these are naturally two characters that you feel most attached to. Well, also Jackie and Vik and maybe Misty. Judy helps at the start, but reeeally lacks involvement in the end. When you call her in the end she's just like "Yeah, okay, good luck with saving your ass, I'm here to offer moral support" where's Panam is like "DONT MOVE. I'm coming"

I played as a Male V, and of course, finding out Judy was lesbian and a no-go when it comes to romance was quite disappointing, but it didn't stop me from developing and feeling a true connection and friendship with Judy. Her character growth, aspirations, maturity over the game... she's one of the most real, 3 dimensional people in video game history. She's definitely my favorite character in CP2077 after Takemura Goro. (Takemura has an unfair advantage, because his experience of Night City was very similar to my own experience of New York City. Minus the threat of death of course. Takemura's reaction to everything American almost exactly mirrors my own.)

I've enjoyed romancing her, she is dicent charcter but I'm dissapointed that you can't interact with her affter her story line. Good news, there was some data leaked a few weeks ago showing new text strings with Panam about the Heist with Jackie, talking about him, and even some dialogue options in the texts that get responses. So its HIGHLY likely with some of the free DLCs they are releasing this year (also leaked to imply some nice long overdue stuff like potential car upgrades) they are likely going to finish what they started with the romance quests. The devs said years ago they don't like Romance options just being "Do missions, get sex, the end" and that is 95% what it is atm. So I expect especially given that the romance stories/endings are the best part of this game in terms of depth of writing and design, the devs want to do our girls Judy and Panam justice

Something amazing I’ve noticed in my most recent playthrough: When you meet Judy for the first time in the basement of Lizzie’s, there’s this low resonant hum playing in the background that I SWEAR is in the same beginning key of Judy’s Theme. Such a nice detail and really brings her theme full-circle imo. I am loving picking up on the little things during subsequent playthroughs and this game overall 🥰

Guys, when i first listened to Souvenir from Selena Gomez i instantly had to think about cuddling with Judy while sitting on the roof of her appartement whatching the sunset. I just love how CDPR and it's Devs managed to make such an intense game❤️ SPOILER: Especially in the Aldecaldo ending when Judy is standing next to the tent before crossing the border. I just had this dream about V and Judy adopting a little girl, I don't remember them saying a name so I chose Yara. She was small like at one point Judy got on one knee so she could mess with Yara's Cheek. At one point It gave me a dang Tutorial, the one that pops up randomly. it said that you could use Yara to distract enemies like Chorizo from Far Cry 6, It was that GIG where you Bug a Russian Fixers car everything is a bit hazy. This just happened so the memory is a little fresh.

I had this ritual in my playthrough, where I would come home to my Japantown apartment every couple of in-game days for a hangout with Judy. The writing of the whole romance sucked me so deep into the roleplay that every now and then after a long day I still think longingly of coming home to Judy and waking up next to her the following morning.

I play a male V, so romancing with her didnt even had a chance, not to mention that Panam was my choice , and Judy wasnt so sympathic for me either, in a romantic way.... But this scene, when they are swimming in the bottom of that toxic lake, see and hear Judy's memories, with this music, it was just beautiful, and now im just sad that she left.... Funny now i miss her. Interesting, and its just my personal memory, but this music really reminds me of the soundtrack of Stargate Universe, and now i also have a nostalgia to those days when i was watching it back in '11. So sad nostalgia, and heartache for Judy :D Since yesterday i think ive listened to this song about a 100 times

I'm a man, and i replayed the game as Valerie just to get her Judy is my favourite girl, i was way too attached to simply let her friendzone me, i wasn't aware till the very end that she was a lesbian, it broke my heart 😄

Her and Panam were more fleshed out than Kerry and River tbh. But all romances are the best I ever witnessed. Reason I feel this way is because I can tell Judy about Panam as lady V and I can tell Panam about everybody as Mr. V (dex deshawn voice)

Everybody running around with Rebecca's shotgun after Edgerunners. Then there's me using The Mox simply because Judy gave it to me. That way no matter where my V is Judy is always there at her side even as she storms Araska Tower.
