Да, раньше и в Европе, и в Америке производили отличных солдатиков. Жаль, что эти времена ушли.

No doubt. He probably was a little unstable. I remember once he wore a costume cape and shouted that he was Superman before leaping from the roof of his house..He broke his leg.

I always wonder what tribe the Marx’s Native Americans are supposed to be.
@iggystoyparadesoldierrevie10926 ай бұрын
I'm seriously considering your question, so without sarcasm or disrespect I am forced to say I think Marx Indians are from the "Hollywood" tribe They represent the impression of what whites thought Indians to be like.

We had this as kids, the exact box😊 We probably threw it away… but we recently bought it again about 6 years ago,on EBay 👏🏻 Back in the early 80’s, we would use the fort (or its surviving parts,haha) with our Britains Deetail Civil War figures. Ahh, magical times.

It was the best of times for sure. A lot of stuff happened to us as kids but only our favorite toys and our time playing with them provides the best memories!

I always thought the perfect Fort Apache would have the stand alone blockhouse, the blockhouse over the gate and the smaller block houses on each corne!

At the time Marx is putting out the last version of Fort Apache, there's a movie with Paul Newman in the theatres called, Fort Apache The Bronx, about the police station in the dangerous neighbourhood in NY City!🤠🏹🏹
@iggystoyparadesoldierrevie10927 ай бұрын
I remember that! I actually saw that movie back in the day. It wasn't quite the Fort Apache I wanted to see! Oddly enough NYC today is far more dangerous than it was back then!

I still have my cowboys and Indians I had as a kid growing up in the 90s. I love this channel, just goes to show figurines aren't just for 14 year olds, I'm 35 and I still collect army men. I also have a small collection of police and security figures too. I have all sorts of armies including ancient Persians.

I still have my fort. Its from the mid seventies. It has the block house over the gate. It came from sears. I'm missing some of it. But a lot of good memories.
@iggystoyparadesoldierrevie10927 ай бұрын
A lot of parts are being remade nowadays so you might be able to replace missing stuff. It sounds like you had one of the Heritage sets that Sears sold. The Heritage sets are the last hurrah for Marx. Star wars came out in 77 and dominated the toy market soon after Now Play Sets like Fort Apache are things of the past. If I go down the toy aisle these days all I see is Dinosaurs
@ericbliss95127 ай бұрын
I've had pretty good luck finding things at flea markets. I even bought a whole fort for 20 dollars. You are correct not much to look at in the toy isles these days.
