My softmod Library & all the BS I went threw to get everything to work the way I want it to. 800mb Silver bottom PS2 games 4GB+ drag & drop to SD card with $5 mx4sio adapter plus artwork & theme on mx4sio.

The only faster way is to use the Lan port with a mini modem that has USB 2.0 than you can use hdds or SD's with more speed than any memorycard sd adapter that has fat32 or exfat. (exfat is nor for speed, its for reading more than 2GB files)

I just got a mx4sio. I’ll try it out with the ELFs you posted. You also mentioned something about the controller freezing with the HDMI video adapter plugged in the USB for power. What adapter are you using for HDMI output? Mine has very low quality, even when outputting 480p.

PS2 CD games have a blue back. All comercially-released PS2 DVDs have a silver bottom.

So now the latest OPL v1.2.0 Beta support exFAT for HDD now? i stuck with GrimDoomer's OPL for a long time because it was the only one supporting exFAT. EDIT: i doesn't seem to work on my exFAT-formatted SSD with a Network Adapter converted with a SATA connector inside. It work perfectly with Grimdoomer's latest version, but not with the v1.2.0 beta2049

most recent beta for me showed my games, but I would get black screen when loading 'em. I went to the prior OPL release and could see and load off my exfat hdd.

Hi does this mod run an exfat hdd as well as the mx4sio. Only I've got my mx4sio working, but my hdd is no longer showing up at all. Any help would be much appreciated, regards Andy

can you run over 4gb games on a usb formated to exfat or do you need the harddrive in the drive bay

You won't have a good time running games through USB, it's really slow since it's USB 1.0. If you have a Fat model buy the HDD adapter thingy, it's almost 100% compatibility. If your model is slim you could use MX4SIO or SMB, the latter being more complicated to set up.

It doesnt support exfat; only mbr fat32 (uelf freedvdboot). You can swap pendrives in opl.
