To be quite frankly, this seems a little untrue, considering FazBear Entertainment had high enough tech back in the 1980's, these animatronics seem too uncanny for the public to enjoy, seriously, by then this restaurant would get too much complaints, or nobody would come here to the point it'd close it, I mean, look at the, the timeline confirmed out of glitches were in the animatronics while they performed, and how the animatronics stunk, the design would make it even worse, and this place would've died out in a matter of days, the old design makes it partially acceptable to the media, Chica doesn't have multiple broken malfunctioning areas in her body, and her cupcake looked..cuter, Freddy had a more family friendly design to him, and he didn't look passively angry as you stared at him, and Bonnie didn't make you feel uneased to the point you wouldn't wanna be there.

I quite like the Fnaf+ models. They kinda remind me of the old Chucky E Cheese animatronic styles. Those were friggin terrifying, yet they still passed enough as child entertainment robots. Not to mention, the Fnaf+ ones were based on the withereds, AND probably had been made with the low ass budget of Freddy Fazbear's Pizza.

So a lot of people say that the FNaF+ animatronics are "obnoxiously scary", but they often forget that these are the refurbished withered animatronics from the FNaF 2 location. I'm pretty sure Fazbear Entertainment is on a budget which would explain why the FNaF+ animatronics are already going to shit (like how Chica's eye seems to have been replaced with an eye that doesn't match the other). I love the new animatronics, in the right lighting, they aren't really that creepy. Just like clowns, you could see how some kids might like these animatronics while others are like the "Crying Child" from FNaF 4 and have an intense fear of them. In darkness, however, they become terrifying. Chica is the main one who gets the hate, but you gotta remember, withered Chica's jaw was completely fucked and they had to fix that with a budget when they refurbished them. Also, the whole non-matching eyes is kinda fucked...

Fnaf+ designs may be more "creepy" and "accurate" but the original designs are more appealing visually for kids. I'm all for the horror and creepiness of Fnaf+ since the point was to make it scarier but I love the original designs because the shapes used in the designs are appealing and they seem more fitting for children's entertainment considering they were trying to entertain (and kill) kids not scare them out of the pizzeria.

I think it’s not appreciated in the main game series enough just how much work goes into maintaining an animatronic character. From a designer to an engineer to a programmer to a writer to a voice actor. They really are a production unto themselves. There’s definitely something to be done with that concept here.

I love the FNAF+ Chica design more than the original tbh, but I can't say the same for Freddy and Bonnie unfortunately. Bonnie looks TOO scary- not to the extent of the Withereds or Nightmares, but beyond the realm of realism- and while Freddy is fine in that respect, I just feel as though this new model lacks the character of his original design- this is more like an updated Withered Freddy, rather than classic.
